Bored. I wanted a capeshit show, not a fricking biased history lesson about the Indian partition. The first couple of episodes showed a lot of promise but they've drifted away from the comics and are now into making their own shit up territory and the writers aren't good enough.
Partition for the uninitiated: The Indian government formed, ordered the British forces to leave (despite Mountbatten offering to stay and help with security during the migrations) and then sat by while the muslims and hindus killed each other by the millions - macheteing entire trainloads of families to death before they could reach safety. Yet it's somehow still the UK's fault of course according to the old folk in the show. Gotta have someone to blame rather then look at yourself in the mirror each morning and thinking "whoa, we really did kill all our ex-neighbours last week, huh..."
She's very pretty, but blaming the partition on White people is extremely disingenuous, and perniciously dangerous because there's an element of truth to it.
