Imax is best

If you didn't see Dune II in full Imax you didn't see it properly. I saw it at the BFI Imax in London, in the very best seat, and it was amazing.

Cope all you want but Imax is for winners. If you live in some shit tier city or town without access to Imax you are SERIOUSLY missing out.

sounds lame. Friend said the same thing about Oppenheimer in full IMAX and described the experience as "transcendental." There's absolutely no way

I watched it in 70mm IMAX and it felt like I saw a masterpiece. The audio mixing especially was insanely good. The little sci-fi noises and the music, it felt like a two hour orgasm for my brain. Very nice.

It's shot entirely with the Imax format in mind, and not a science/travel doc. Weird it took until a sci-fi to do this.

Like it said it was beautiful. It matches the LOTR trilogy already for me. Its one of the best films ever made and once the 3rd comes I think it will be one of the best trilogies ever made. I really hope Dennis takes his time and creative license with Messiah. I loved what he did with the first two. Never a big Dune fan didn't read the books and I thought the Lynch film was AT BEST a cult classic and realistically was a pretty shit 80s B-tier sci-fi film carried by the source material's interesting story and lore.

The problem is that Dune was the only movie released in like 5-10 years worth seeing in IMAX lol

Pissed because the 70mm imax theater near me is only doing normal IMAX format and the next closest is an hour away

cruise films and Oppenheimer were somewhat worth it

as a fat frick the seats were fricking atrocious. I had to squeeze my legs close together or else i'd be touching legs with the people next to me and my legs were strained. I also had to cross my arms the whole time for the same reason. rather just go to my local theatre that has fat frick friendly seats.

I saw it in one of the biggest imax theaters in the US and I still walked away finding it mediocre.
Now seeing Tenet in that theater, that’s a whole other thing.

Fear not anon, it’ll come back. In the off season I foresee them playing Nolan movies a lot in imax, they’re like a guaranteed cash cow.

Pipe down chud. After I saw Dune I bought a israeli beef bagel, then had a Turkish coffee & baklava, then went shopping on Old Bond Street. London is for winners.

Dune in Imax is just a waste.

Avatar in 3D Imax, now that was absolutely colossal.

Take it from someone who sees Imax movies all the time.

Only 12 theaters in the entire world had Dune 2 in 70mm IMAX, so glad you liked it -- but that's not an option for about 8 billion people.

There's still plenty of laser options which is going to be about the same for that movie.

Is fricking shit. Literally one of the worst ones running.
You never lived through Cineramas or even the massive screens we had before multiplexes.
Just to add..do you have IMAX at home?
If not then according to you..the film will not be seen "properly" so has failed as a visual medium.
Films...decent films... are more than just the "experience"..what you are looking for is a roller coaster.
DUNC is bland so no I wont be going to boost the tickets, shill.
