It isn't just about pornography. That's a separate but parallel problem. AI presents an entirely new set of problems, the ones I suggested in my earlier post primarily being psychological. And I'm not saying it's completely bad either. It's provocative and tantalizing and it COULD end up doing incredible things for our future. Or it could end up being utterly disastrous. Or it could end up being a mediocre and boring diversion. Or it could be all three of these things. Or it could be something in another direction entirely that we can't even conceive of yet. To say we're still at the tip of the iceberg even isn't enough of an exaggeration. But I doubt that will stop many groups from trying to exploit it to its maximum possible potential, whether benevolent or nefarious.
