Indiana Jones Dies in Indiana Jones 5

There's a pattern here:

Shit sequels kill off their legacy characters:
Han dies in Force Awakens
Luke dies in Last Jedi
Leia dies in Rise of Skywalker
Bond dies in No Time To Die
Flynn dies in Tron Legacy
Indy dies in Indiana Jones 5

Good Sequels confirm they're a badass:
Mad Max: Fury Road
Top Gun: Maverick
Blade Runner: 2049
Indiana Jones: Crystal Skull (Cause Spielberg isn't a moron)

Why did they even consider making a film that looked like it was setting up Shia? Shia is a good character actor but what makes franchises think he is a leading man?
    >Shia has a tiny head, no jaw/chin, big nose, small frame and very small height

Anon, all casting decisions that seem inexplicable are just israelites doing favors for members of the tribe

      >Why would a funny-looking manlet like LeBouf be shilled as an action star?
      He's israeli.

      >Why was Alden Ehrenreich suddenly a thing for a while?
      israeli

      >How does Miles Teller get leading roles in multiple A-list blockbusters while being short and kinda goofy-looking?
      He's israeli

Hell, you can go back decades and the answer's still the same

      >Why did Dustin Hoffman
      israeli

Back then the Michael Cera type was being pushed as leading. They still kind of do with the fast talking "I can't stop over explaining things" style of conversation.

I think this is more down to people not being able to make a send off film without the character dying. Indiana Jones 3 had a good ending but since Indy was still alive they made another one, and another one. I mean Patrick Stewart basically confirmed this when he was asked what the point of Star Trek: Picard was answered saying "well he's still alive".

      Well
One, Disney doesn't give a frick about pre-owned lore (expl. Star Wars)
      and
Two, the movie has time travel so they'll undo it and kill him.

    >It's a Disney movie
If you don't know how they work by now you never will. Anything made by the big studios have had their soul ripped out of the film for international releases. Everything is made to be sold to the lowest common consumer with enough "callbacks" to satiate the writhing masses.
    >LOOK ITS BLIP BLORP FROM THE CHILDRENS SHOW IRL! CLAP!
    >THEY SAID THE LINE! MAKE A 2 HOUR LONG VIDEO ESSAY ABOUT THE HIDDEN GENIUS OF THIS COMMERCIAL FRANCHISE!
    >THEY MADE A WHITE CARTOON CHARACTER INTO A BALD DEMONIC BLACK WOMAN! IF YOU QUESTION IT YOU DESERVE TO LOSE YOUR JOB. IF YOU RANT ABOUT IT ONLINE, WE'LL WRITE ARTICLES ABOUT IT.
Just stop watching (hate watching counts) shit you don't like and act indifferent to it. Delete reddit and Instagram and own your words on a blog. Don't be a homosexual. Ascend.

Die Hard 5 was pretty shit and John McClane survived it. That being said you're right for most movies, killing off beloved characters and replacing them with shit is a pretty terrible formula that way, way to many studios seem to love using.

Last Crusade was about all 3 (Lucas, Speilberg,Ford) putting the myth to rest.
Part 4 was about Lucas & Speilberg saying their peace about the series and bowing out
Part 5 will be about Ford saying his peace and bowing out
The official end was part 3

Indiana Jones 5 needs to be him shopping in a grocery store and arguing over saving stamps or some shit they had back in the '60s and then having a heart attack and dying but nobody knows what to do because CPR hasn't been invented yet. Then a Nazi shows up and he comes back to life just long enough to beat him up. Then he dies again.
