Y'know how over time characters become a caricature of their most exaggerated traits over multiple seasons? This shows side characters start that way. It's fricking annoying. The show also can't do subtle, every joke needs to basically be pushed to the extreme and explained as if you're a mouth breather.

I liked it, if they drop a second season I'll watch it. Hopefully Netflix gives me some kind of credit for completing this anonymous online survey.
The writing is annoying. They legit have some great main characters but they waste it on very trite referential comedy that feels like a first draft of something that could be much much better. They have a bad habit of explaining the joke, and the conspiracy stuff feels like its a normie doing surface level comedy takes instead of anything really clever or interesting. None of these issues are likely to be addressed when the second half of season 1 drops, but its one of the few netflix animation projects that got greenlit for a second season instead of getting caught up in the mass cancelation of animation projects, so hopefully they make the best of it.

i watched it because i enjoyed gravity falls and thought it was okay.
the premise of conspiracy theories being real was neat, but the execution of the premise is hit or miss depending on the episode.
reagan, brett, JR, and rand were pretty good, but the other characters were boring and awful.
overall entertaining watch. will be watching season 2.
