Blue and grey suit is one of those things I always feel weirdly about, because it's obvious those colour choices were supposed to represent black in the old comics.
You're trying to get "retro cred", but you're kind of missing the intent of what was there in the first place.
It works well enough in a comic but might be odd in real life. Even West's suit was a much darker shade of blue.
The blue highlights in old comics is still meant to be black, but you would be hard pressed to argue that Denny O’Neil’s Batman wasn’t wearing blue
Dark blue is better camouflage in the night than black. Everyone thinks black is the stealthy color, but it sticks out like a sore thumb because there's not really that much shit in nature that's black. The blue's a little too bright, absolutely, but his suit absolutely should be a dark blue instead of a black if they're going for a ninja/stealth thing. That's what they were doing in the past and it's only more recent incarnations that went more for intimidation.

Gray? You mean the other color of his suit? Yeah. The dark blue is better for the night sky, which is why it's his cape so it blends in better when gliding or observing from a high vantage point. Then he can just flip his cape back to show off the gray underneath when he gets low.
