      >midwit calling other people midwits
every fricking time. if you weren't a dumbshit you could appreciate the cool visuals and concepts, acting, but nah, you're you so you see every movie as some kind of test of your intelligence.

let me guess... naggy mother absent father.

Don’t care what anyone thinks, when they fail the first part of the mission and he comes back to find that his daughter is already older than him will always get me. Such an immediate sucker punch.

It is the best IMAX experience of the last 20 years. Spectable, effects, audio, setpieces, emotional impact all top-notch. There are some script issues but many criticisms misattribute character flaws with plot flaws. I don't think the intended message of the movie is that the force of love is literally an elemental force more powerful than gravity.

this movie brings so much emotion and empathetic fear for the characters involved.
Anyone saying this movie "sucks" or is "mediocre" or "midwitcore" doesn't know movies and should be ignored indefinitely.

Why? Cause they put a regular joe country man with a daughter in space? That’s exactly the kind of cheap writing trick to get midwits invested in the characters

I certainly enjoy it. It’s probably one of the better or best movies of the past decade or so. Definitely of the science fiction genre anyways. I like the robots too. And see Ming the circular space station in “real life”/on screen that I had only seen in pieces of art before was really neat.

I still didn't really understand the ending, are there like Aliens or something that are helping him? Or he becomes the alien?

There is nothing to understand because it makes no fricking sense, the things help him in the end are future humans, which means humans didn't need any actual help to survive otherwise those future humans wouldn't have existed, nolan is a moron.

I liked it but the drama with his daughter was a bit annoying. The movie was lagging when they meet up with matt damon. The ending was interesting until he ended up in bed, didn't like how that all played out

The global warming dustbowl pollution equals bad plot, was shoehorned in way too hard. Propaganda films always have too much suck in them. They could have done a time dialation space fantasy so much better without having to woke it up so hard.
