I don't like the sound of that.

      It's unlike Miracleman.

Aside from being violent books about flying bricks, they have little in common.

      I liked both, myself.

I was told it was like Miracleman meets Dragon Ball Z, but with Peter Parker as Superboy.

The ending is Miraclemanish in the sense that the hero actually makes a noticeable change in the world / universe and the ending has an actual end but Mark is a super traditional hero for the most part.

It’s worth looking at if you like the art of Walker and Ottley. Reading? Nah.

I see. I may give it a go anyway.

how many seasons total you think the Invincible animated show will have if they want to reach to the end?

Because they are rushing alot of shit into the show. I guess they want to try to fit in as many issues as possible before getting canned.

I'm not interested in the cartoon, sorry.

I liked it. Really Superboy meets DBZ is a better way to put it than anything. I don't think he's super Peter Parkerish myself

It's literally Dragonball except Vegeta is sent to conquer Earth and lands in the DC Universe where the story follows Trunks and the big bad is Broly and everyone gets Mortal Kombat fatalities
Why anyone would say Miracleman is beyond me

7 seasons could cover the entire storyline.
      S3 covers Invincible War
S4 could cover everything from Conquest to the destruction of the Viltrumite homeworld.
S5 Robot villain arc, Mark displaced to other dimensions. Mark and Eve getting together again.
S6 Reboot, Conclusion to the Viltrumite War
      S7 Robot Wars, Epilogue.

      Yes.

      Maybe.

      That's not very helpful.

I enjoyed it give it a shot, if you aren’t getting into it by issue two maybe drop it.

      Thanks. I will.

Miracleman is terrific. Easily one of the best comics I've read. The irregular panels and bright color palette in Book 3 haunt my dreams.

It is gore garbage. I don't know Miracleman but if gore is plenty for you to enjoy a story then you'll like Invincible. Otherwise, really, it's like 95% gore garbage.
It's like if you ask about the F1 game. Well do you like racing? Because that's all the game has. You can maaaaybe try to bump the other cars a bit before being disqualified, but other than that it's 98% racing.

Invincible is cool at first but goes downhill pretty fast and evetually just turns into a parody of itself. It's mostly only good in the context of when it came out.

I thought the opposite. First few arcs are whatever but once it gets going and establishes enough side characters it turned into a love letter to everything good about modern capeshit without the continuity baggage, moronic crossovers, revolving door artists, and every other problem that plagues the big 2.

I thought it did have crossovers.
