They're not gonna have the other Image Universe cameos
Techjacket, Brit, and Wolf-Man are currently confirmed to not have their rights negotiated with Amazon
Sorry but that's probably not gonna happen. Spawn, Witchblade, Youngblood, Savage Dragon and the other image characters film rights are owned by other people. Kirkman only owns the rights to Invincible and related character like Brit and Werewolf.
And they were too cheap to shell out for Brit and Wolf-Man.

Won’t happen or will be severely tuned down and will be lack luster. Reminder, in America showing people getting their heads chopped off on tv is completely fine but sex is le horrible and evil and don’t you dare THINK about showing a nipple.
>but sex is le horrible and evil and don’t you dare THINK about showing a nipple.
Dude, R Rated content has sex all the time
Plenty of Image titles I've read had explicit sex

It will happen, but they'll probably tone it down. The actual comic makes it too hot. The close-up of her abs, for example, is totally unnecessary.
Thats the point dingus, this is after he ripped up conquest twice, he could of ripped her in two. His dad is the fricking emperor too, Nolan was about to decapitate her when he figured out what happened until Mark swept it under the rug. Mark feels like he cheated on Eve
Needs to be re-masted panel by panel and then some to show the indignities of rape and show how men won't like this treatment as women lose their rights more and more.
Because of how swapped around the plot points were in the show compared to the cartoon
I'm willing to bet season 2 is going to focus on Angstrom Levy and some of the cliff hanger threads like the Robomen and Mars Monsters and will end on a cliff hanger with Mark going to the planet and meeting His Dad again
Then the opening of season 3 will be the fight, the fallout with Cecil, first appearance of Annisa, Eve Romance, Mark's little brother and stuff like that
I think next season will be they going to mars, he meeting his father and half brother and that guy who controls earthquakes next. I barely remember, I actually dropped the comic after some arc with him and Evil cyborg grandad didn't appear until them so I doubt he will appear on the second season, maybe at end or something but they will need to skip a lot to get there even for the third season.
Actually most of the first season actually happened after Nolan left in the comics.
The portal aliens only showed up once before taking Nolan with them. They returned after he left the planet.
Mark didn't go to Mars until after Nolan left.
The robomen at the college was a constant background thread for a lot longer than the two episodes in the show.
Helping Titan beat Machine Head was after Nolan left.
Robot getting a new body with Rex's DNA was after Nolan left.
Really the only new stuff was Mark graduating High School and starting College, Dating a version Amber that isn't a c**t, the first half of the Angstrom Levy plot, THEN meeting Nolan again and getting the second half of the Levy plot
Yeah, this alt timeline is what makes it confusing. Is just that a lot needs to happen before Grandad makes an appearance, but they could rush it since he is pretty iconic, for me this middle part after Nolan gets back from meeting Nolan is pretty slow so they could rewrite and try to make it better.
The cartoon over all feels better paced than the comics until at least the issues are at least in the 20's.
Nolan and Marks fight and him leaving is only issue 12 comic wise.
The plot is break neck getting there.
Heck even Cecil isn't important until after.
The comic didn't have Dameon Dark do anything important. He shows up like twice and by the time he thinks It's Omni-Man that killed the Globe everyone already knows and he hasn't been back since.
It's gotten better from about half way through Compendium one (Issues in the 20's) to where I am now in Compendium two (The 50's) but man it was jarring reading the comic after the show
I think the only thing that felt weird was the ReAnimen arc. In the episode, Rick is turned into a super cyborg waaay too fast. In the comics he was gone for way longer.
Regarding the reanimen, other weird things:
-They used his men against Omniman, pushing up the timeline of that. Not sure how Mark is supposed to be surprised by it later
-Sinclair throws a tantrum like a baby when they're destroyed
-Cecil treats him like trash for it and removes him from the room
Cecil's willingness to recruit and work with morally reprehensible people is his defining characteristic, so that last one felt really off.
Unless they are stupid, there's no way we won't get at least the introduction and some of the battle in the Cartoon, but it would have to be post season 3 unlless they try to rush to get to it or try to present it earlier in the general comic-show timeline.
I'm ready for them to refuse to sexualize eve again.
The big struggle with comics vs animation is that comics can afford to make gorgeous, wide-paneled art because it's only one frame, so I actually am eager to see how they handle it, and I hope they don't skimp on the visuals.
>and make her less of an unlikeable b***h
Best case scenario: They make her like comic Amber who accepts Mark's double life but end up breaking up when he still has to put saving the world over their relationship but being amicable about it.
Worst case: Mark gets treated like he was in the wrong, apologizes, Amber gives him a second chance from her Soup Kitchen High Horse, and then breaks up with him after missing some important event that was his last chance
I'm way excited for the Invincible War. Can't wait to see my boy Mark merk a Spawn on-screen.

Jeez, not even the other Krikman characters? Might as well skip the Invincible War.
That's... wow. So is Techjacket just not gonna be there for space adventures and completely ignored or do you think they'll replace him with an OC?
They may replace him with another hero or space character.
>No Japandroid
Dropped as soon as Robot cures Monster Girl's e-girl curse
>they couldn't be assed to fork over the ten bucks in licensing fees to secure these characters
Damn, Image really can't pull a dime huh...

Invincible is racist
And you're a homosexual
I don't think they'll do THAT Conquest fight
They'll just have Conquest be the viltrumite who arrests Nolan to set up the fight we all know
How will normies react to the 3000 year old milf mommy rape scene
Won’t happen or will be severely tuned down and will be lack luster. Reminder, in America showing people getting their heads chopped off on tv is completely fine but sex is le horrible and evil and don’t you dare THINK about showing a nipple.

K, when the scene never shows up or the scene is extremely edited I’ll be here.
It will happen, but they'll probably tone it down. The actual comic makes it too hot. The close-up of her abs, for example, is totally unnecessary.

Mark didn't beat Conquest speed watcher, he literally got impaled and had to hax his way through a viltrumite breathing weakness
>conquest cope
Well theres a first for everything
God this part makes me so uncomfortable. Why did Kirkman have to make it so hot?
>the evil iredeemable race reproduces through rape
that was kinda the point anon, mark did the male equivelant of a leg lock
Jesus her fricking giraffe neck in that lower panel
Needs to be re-masted panel by panel and then some to show the indignities of rape and show how men won't like this treatment as women lose their rights more and more.
>Blushing
A good part of him liked it.
Its gonna take up the entire episode length and its gonna be done in one take
They'll write it out
He should have let Omni Man kill her for that shit instead of her apparently turning over a new leaf offscreen.
>Leather Thigh Highs
>Blushing
Fricking bawd.
Who will voice Thragg?
Adam Lambert

Well they also completely skipped the William/Eve dating bit, too. There are a ton of changes.

God fricking damn I want her.
You bros think we'll get to see the Thragg and Battle Beast fight?
Unless they are stupid, there's no way we won't get at least the introduction and some of the battle in the Cartoon, but it would have to be post season 3 unlless they try to rush to get to it or try to present it earlier in the general comic-show timeline.
Hmm I dont remember this panel, did they add or remove it? Also show battlebeast looks gay as frick so dont get your hopes up

I'm ready for Eve to rebuild herself as a black woman after conquest kills her the first time.
I think they'll just have an offbrand version instead, like how we've got seance dog in the show instead of science dog
I'm ready to see them skip Mark as emperor and it just being Eve reading a storybook to her descendants long after Mark is dead.
It won't happen but I hope they take the fan reaction to amber into account and make her less of an unlikeable b***h
