No, people like Goku more than Superman because Goku has an actual personality more than being "le good alien man" Superman is too perfect, like a god.

Firstly, Goku's growth is basically just into a more powerful version of what he always was. His Purity and Innocence is kind of the point, and honestly I wouldn't call him a leader so much as the "point man" He's the main character.
Also the whole "humble guy who puts others needs above his" applies far better to Superman than Goku
About as much as I'd expect from a machine that's just spewing out most common sentences on bullshit like this.

Well, there are a few things going on here.

First, story of Dragonball is more consistent than that of Superman. This shouldn't be surprising, given its nature and total runtime. Manga tends to keep one single consistent storyline going, and while Dragonball has been running since the 80s, there was a 20-year break in the story between the end of DBZ and the start of DBS. So you're looking at about 20 years of Dragonball media.

Superman has been running since the late 30s, meaning that the whole story of Superman is over a 90-year long run. It isn't surprising that the whole of Superman is not one long, continuous journey. Most of Superman's story has been revisited and reworked, and it's not surprising that there's more fluff in Superman's runtime than in Dragonball's. Dragonball had stupid random shit too, but it's easier to filter through it when the story is just 3 anime series (if long ones) rather than nearly a hundred years of comics.

On the other hand, Goku's development tends to stop around the DBZ era. If anything, it massively slows down, and the idea of Goku being "a humble and compassionate warrior who fights for the greater good" is hamstringed when he intentionally draws out fights and lets opponents get massively stronger just so he can challenge himself. By late DBZ and arguably later, Superman shows a far larger concern for greater good than Goku highlights. (This could be a character flaw, but does highlight Goku's motivations.)

As for the fight scenes, 50/50 whatever your preference. Some people like the escalating tension for several episodes in Dragonball, some people like the laser eyebeam fights in Superman. Both use a lot of metaphysical nonsense jargon to explain the conflict, so that's a wash there.

In short: Watch what you like, they're both shit at this point, nobody really cares.

      >Goku is a humble and compassionate warrior who fights for the greater good. lmao, the AI is a dubgay casual and never watched the real Dragon Ball.

      > he intentionally draws out fights and lets opponents get massively stronger just so he can challenge himself. By late DBZ

That only happen in Super. People miss understand late Z Goku. After the heart virus he realized his mortality and believe in the next generation.

        >That only happen in Super.
It happened with the Kid Buu fight at the end of DBZ. Heck, it happened with several Buu forms.
It happened with Cell at the end of the Cell arc.

It probably happened a few more times in a DBZ movie as well, I just don't recall them off the top of my head. Goku keeps backing off and giving opponents chances rather than obliterating the world-ending threat before it can become worse. He always wants to test himself, or test someone else, or has some excuse to draw things out.

Goku is inherently selfish. It's a character fault. A valid character fault, which you might use as a plus for Goku against Superman. But it gets in the way of Goku being noble and altruistic in his desire to fight.

Toyotaro is a hack. We all know and are willing to admit that other than Zealot Dragonballgays that claims the franchise can do no wrong.

I’m a Gokugay, but who the frick is the moron that fed it this info? This is how I’d expect someone who’s never seen Dragonball (or really, most shonen anime) to describe the main character the best they could… which I suppose is accurate but still perplexing that this is what the bot gave you.
