Is anybody else watching Americas Sweethearts?

Am I the only one who noticed there was maybe… shall we say… a bit of an “imbalance” in the relationship between Reece and her husband?
Like she’s a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and he has a job selling power washers. Do you think she married him for his money?

This is a classic southern pairing - hot chick with "rich" guy, usually his dad owns a dealership or a power washing business etc. They dress in guady prep clothing, go to college football games at their alma mater, go to church and have decent sized families

Also, if one or both of them is originally from Texas, they may be from a family with oil money...which is a whole other level of rich.

Nah theyre probably not from oil money
Guys from oil money have a different aura to them

He 100% is not rich at all lmao. If you watch the show he didn’t have a job beforehand, he just moved with her down to Dallas when she got the job. And he’s so dimwitted his first thought was
      >well gee, I’ve always liked sports- maybe I could get a job with the Texas Rangers!
cut to 2 seconds later when the only job he could land that wasn’t at McDonalds was selling power washers.

And the fricked up part is she seems entirely oblivious to the fact she could very clearly do so much better. Like they even bring it up on the show, and she just seems to be completely unaware of just how wildly out of his league she is. Like SHE thinks that SHE is the lucky one in the relationship

This is why you will never get a woman like that. You sound like a little worm. "Omg she's so out of his league!" You have no confidence to do what that guy's doing and you cower like the pathetic simp söyboy you are in front of some mid pussy.

    >The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are actually one of the highest-paid squads. They earn about $15-20 per hour, or $500 per game
    >There are ways to earn more: Cheerleaders also receive anywhere from $50 to $75 for public appearances, according to the outlet.

None of that is true. They’re actually paid like dog shit- I’m not making this up- the owners and management literally go on camera and admit it right on the show
      >You’d think the Cowboys would at least compensate these performers at a level commensurate with their skills, responsibilities, and visibility. Whiteley finds that this is not the case. While the most highly paid NFL players make upwards of $50 million a year, 2022 DCC alum Kat compares her salary to that of “a Chick-fil-A worker who works full time.” Past generations earned even less—$15 or $35 per game for a role they understood as honorary. Asked about the pay issue, Charlotte Jones, the Cowboys’ chief brand officer and daughter of owner Jerry Jones, rambles condescendingly: “There’s a lot of cynicism around pay for NFL cheerleaders—as it should be. They’re not paid a lot. But the facts are, they actually don’t come here for the money. They come here for something that’s actually bigger than that to them.

Outside of Hollywood, and massive stadium tier musicians...almost no one in the arts or arts adjacent jobs is paid very well at all. Certainly not in a way representative to the years of time an effort to learn and maintain those type of skills

They should probably be getting paid for the show, but outside of that, they don't generate all that much money. So they really shouldn't be paid much,

Many minor league baseball players are paid jack shit too, and they only have time for a job during the offseason.

It is just one of the sacrifices that you have to make to follow these dreams.

They're also expected to maintain a certain weight and look, no outside gigs that may be considered an endorsement, public appearances are rare post-COVID, and it's pretty much a full time job on its own. They train at a certain dance studio off Inwood when not at the training facility

NFL games are only 3 hours long on average. If they make $20/hr, that’s $60 bucks, not $500
