honestly he only really hurts people "in the game" who frick with him first and those people on that plane were dead anyway if he hadn't shown up at all, they're not entitled to be saved by him just like cops can legally stand there watching you get murdered not doing anything

he's got less innocent blood on his hands than most of the cast, heroes and villains, who directly kill and endanger civvies out of incompetence

Is Edgar just not aware that Homelander will go full rampage at this point?

        Anonymous

If they play Edgar like Stillwell then he doesn't care and has a backup plan until it blows up in his face and his company goes into the toilet

Comic Stillwell wouldn’t have the reservations Stan has here

In the comics Stillwell is just more annoyed at Homelander for being a stupid baby homosexual and outright tells him he'd rather die than hear him do another tantrum.

Lol there’s nothing to suggest those hijackers we’re going to kill everyone, most hijackings end with very little actual violence.
Homelanders interference made everything worse which was the point they were making. Superheroes never save anyone in the show and typically just make matters worse for everyone else(Supes are an allegory for the ever increasing arms race).
In the show however I’d argue Vaught are more the villains than Homelander, he’s more of an ever present threat than the main antagonist.

He told a teenager to go kill herself. Which we don't see if he didn't out right push her himself.

Also a plane full of people because he laser the controls.

Also if diabolical is canon he exploded a power plant.

was the baltimore mayor in the game? or becca? or the suicidal girl?

Baltimore mayor? Yeah he was blackmailing over compound V. It’s implied it was consensual with Becca. Suicidal girl killed herself

          >It’s implied it was consensual with Becca
No it isn't, they outright spell it out in a talk between Becca and Homelander arguing over Ryan.

What else could Becca possibly mean by "after what you did to me" in the context of the conversation? Or why else does she literally cringe when he touches her?

Why would she go into hiding for years if it was consensual, especially after being "dumped"

Why would she think he was a psycho if the encounter was consensual? Your logic isn't making much sense here anon.

NTA but if she thought homelander was psychopath then why would she have a consensual sexual encounter with him?

I'm not sure what the hell is going on with Noir.
Flashback he's a black super hero who can't take his helmet off, for legal reasons. Then he gets his face hit with shrapnel so now he can't take it off for health reasons.

I'm pretty sure he's going the be the tv show answer for a super hero zombie like comic book lamp lighter. Which now that he killed himself I wonder if they'll try that on the show?

maybe I'm the only autist but it really bothers me that the show is super shy about homelander's power level.
it's implied he can survive a nuke
it's implied he can go to space
it's implied he is faster than a-train
hell the entirety of season 2 was about how "maybe stormfront is a match for him" but then at the end it's implied he could have take her out whenever he wanted
we are 3 season in and homelander has yet to throw a punch on screen.
