Is he the biggest kino machine of all time?

Not really, his movies are dumb comedies with minimal action and he's always mugging the camera and just being obnoxious on screen. Going through his filmography I think he might be even more overrrated than Bruce Lee

his best films were directed by either Yuen Woo Ping or Lau Kar Leung, sadly he only made a few movies with them.

      >Huh, I didn't know Criterion did a Wong Kar Wai box set. It's $238 AUD on their website but they don't ship to Australia, how much is it on eBay---
      >$594

It’s a shitty box set anyways. They already have individual releases for his other films. The ones on the box set have awful de-saturated color grading that make all his movies look grey

        >Criterion changed the color grading of In The Mood For Love to a yellowish tint
        Never fucking mind

Solid HK action films, most say 2 is the best but I find Rosamund Kwan's character annoying and prefer the first one.

2 has the better fight scenes but 1 is way more gritty and has more gun violence. Both are insanely good though. I still haven't watched III

Is he really a commie or just he needs to pretend to have a career?

Why do they advertise Police Story as a "trilogy" and only release those together? Did people not like First Strike?

I like First Strike but it's more like a merger of Police Story with Armour of God
