The first episode was kino but when they didn't play the Dexter theme when he killed the dude I knew that they were going to be 'subversive' and ruin it.
theyre either severely mentally impaired like the normie popcorn swallowing masses who enjoy anything, or he doesn't actually like it and lives in delusion in order to avoid the truth that we live in hell

I don't know, a lot I guess. I'm not a moronic normie though. >to avoid the truth that we live in hell
That's pretty much why I watch anything.
I liked it up until I hated it more than the original Dexter. Dexter's homosexual kid has to be one of the worst characters ever written. That last episode was some bullshit.
>bring Angel back >he's in a room the whole time >finally coming for Dexter >never even gets to meet him
that shit was unforgivable, way worse than anything in Season 8. Also a random cop from frickin upstate New York just happens to run into Angel Batista?
It was okay but it felt like the writer build up everything on purpose just to troll everyone with that final episode which made the whole thing worse than the original series finale.
Also his son is an annoying piece of shit character and made the whole thing a chore to get through.
Surprisingly yes. Still a few dumbass plotholes but it has more in common with the first four seasons than the last four. It needed a few extra episodes for the writers to finish it up without it feeling rushed.
Still, if you watch 1-4 then skip right to New Blood, it makes a pretty complete story with a full character arc for Dexter. They kind of saved the show by allowing you to pretend 5-8 never happened.
(The reason there are so many butthurt people here is because 60% of Dexter's fanbase was moronic normies who viewed him as a superhero, not a character to be written seriously. The season wasn't a masterpiece but it's way better than anything after season 4. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge that just has terrible sensibilities and should be ignored.)
no one talks about it so no, i dont watch anything unless i see at least 1 thread a day about it on tv for 2 weeks straight
Complete dogshit. Makes season 8 look like citizen Kane.
Disregarding the last episode, it was up there with season 3 (not quite 1, 2, or 4). The finale was season 8 tier however.

First episode is good rest is shit,I lost passion after 4 ep after seeing Dexter acting like pussy in his own show
was it made after 2014 or so?
if the answer is yes: no
it was really good up until the last few episodes with the writers decision of how to end things
no
I liked it, but the fanbase mostly hated it. It was rushed but I think it's worth a watchthrough
>I liked it,
What's wrong with you?

It was shit, I didn't even bother to watch the last couple of episodes. They ruined their chance to redeem the original ending
Somehow worse than the last two Dexter seasons
Harrison was a little prick and the villain was boring
Also its was pain to watch his homosexual son story plot where they show him as this ''am not like others'' guy in school
it was a bigger frick you than the original dexter ending so no
It was good right up until the final episode

representative of the times really
also that whole climate change bs had me close to tapping out
His boss is gay, that's all you need to know

Showtime waited 8 years to make this shit and even had a spinoff they wanted to make
jesus christ how do you frick up this bad?
>even had a spinoff they wanted to make
what was it, masuka doing CSI but constantly making sex jokes?
would watch tbh
I still can’t believe they cucked us out a Dexter and Angel reunion. Ruined the entire season for me.

It's written by a woman with a fetish for serial killers.
Yeah...
how did it end bros? I watched up until the dad knew his son was dead but went along with pretending he was alive
