Is it okay now to say that I unironically enjoyed watching this movie?

Is it okay now to say that I unironically enjoyed watching this movie? My little brother was 4 at the time it released and watched Teen Titans Go! with my mom, so he liked looking at the pictures in my Teen Titans comics. I took him to the cinema to see it and I was surprised at how many references and "adult" things I could enjoy (I haven't seen the Go! series) while it still had humour for a 4 year old. I also got pretty excited when I saw the Teen Titans credits scene, since I loved that growing up and I hadn't heard there was a credits scene.

This movie vindicated me for finding it annoying that Robin/ Dick Grayson still has never gotten a movie. It will always be top tier to me for that reason.

From what I've seen this is way better than the show, that one Batman clip everybody laughs at came from this movie

The movie was legitimately funny and was full of decent jokes and references to DC comic. It made me give the tv series a chance and it was nowhere close as good, almost as if they got better writers/used their a-game material.for the theatrical movie

People are upset with TTG as a series because CN runs the show on loop for a majority of the day...and some of the OG teen titan fans get upset that their show got cancelled but this keeps going

It was solid but CN always delivered on cartoon movies somehow and it probably helped that mainline DC movies were generally not great at the time so some self aware parody and satire was actually kind of nice at the moment.

It's sad that one of Stan Lee's last appearances was in a movie by his company's rival.

If you think that Marvel and DC aren't rivals, you're moronic. Not gonna sugarcoat it, even that is too good of a word to describe you.

Whatsamatter? Did you just realize you've wasted your whole life on this board waging company wars?

I honestly don't know what set you off. Did you even read the links I gave you. They show you the same people own both companies. Why are you throwing a fit over it?

Because they are both rivals, and always have been. Here you come waltzing in, thinking that shareholders make a difference.

The movie was fine. But it doesn’t retroactively makes TTG any better. That’s still infantile trash with the odd, high concept episode thrown in once they were too big to fail.

Like I said in OP, I didn't watch the TV series.
