The only people who have a problem with it are man children who think Batman is grimdark capeshit where he's somehow stronger than other capeshit with actual powers so they have an autistic knowledge of comics instead of getting laid.
>Adam West Batman
I think it's better than that. The 60's Batman was snide and tongue in cheek, almost like it had a disdain for the source material. It was originally going to be straightforward, like the old serial before it, but one of the producers wanted it to be silly and self-aware. It ultimately feels like it was made in bad faith.
Batman and Robin, meanwhile, is summarized by what Schumacher said before every time he said action: "remember, folks, we're making a live-action cartoon!" Just fun.
So sick of the Adam West comparison. Batman was never suppose to be campy and neither was Superman. The Comic Book Code made Batman gay. Basically kept Bruce from being able to be a ladies man. So here was a grown ass man who does be date with a teenage kid living with him. Hence all the gay jokes. Batman couldn’t kill and neither could his villains. So they were all idiots. The Batman comic was so bad because of this it would’ve got canceled but the TV show kept it on life support. Yet for decades when people thought Batman they thought he was a campy homosexual. This is why the name “Bruce” was considered gay. Why TV producers changed Bruce Banner to David Banner in Incredible Hulk TV series

So many moronic takes. I love cheesy films. This one is kind of a slog. It has it's moments, and it's more fun if you think of it as an Adam West movie. But it still have several parts where the film really drags. It has frickall to do with "hurrr grimdark" fart huffing. And of course there's the major violation of suspension of disbelief with the black woman scientist but whatever.
Also, Joel Schumacher's best film is DC Cab. Frick you, fight me.
It was only really hated because people at the time thought Batman should be grimdark and thought the designs were gay (which to be fair they had a point here).
Was it any good? My wife has been wanting to watch them with me for a long time now, but we tend to just watch what I want and not much else. I rather not waste my time if it's just mid
Yes, but just know its campy as hell and doesn't take itself seriously at all. Its stupid fun but actually well done. Don't go into it expecting Burton or Nolan style
>My wife has been wanting to watch them with me for a long time now, but we tend to just watch what I want and not much else.
So is this just the new attention-seeking homosexual pasta? You've pulled this same shit in the Chronicle of Riddick thread, do you REALLY need attention this fricking badly? Frick off.
It's cool
Slopkino
No, it's zany fun, only disliked by people who think cheesy = bad.
This
Has no one seen the Adam West Batman?

It was toy commercial not a movie
Man toys used to be so cool
Nolan Batman exists because of this film. Make what yot will of that.
>batman movie is corny and campy
>morons think this is a bad thing
It's probably in the top three of the Batman movie franchise. Closer to the actual source material than all other Batman films.
It's literally just Clooney being a terrible choice that stops me loving B&R.
For all the talk of cheesiness, the dying Alfred storyline felt really heartfelt.
Silverstone as Batgirl is pure sex.
Its actually kino. Better than the depressing Burton batman movies
Alicia SIlverstone is underrated babe. Wish she got naked
>depressing Burton batman movies
The Burton movies were comedies too
Nice. What a nice ass.
>this back dimples
Tfw mommy alicia will never bite off chunks of fruit and feed you like a baby bird.
She's a based mom, peta stuff notwithstanding
Damn she didn't hit the wall
does peta think that wool is skin? and that sheep don't need to be sheared?
Did you never see pic rel anon?
Yes that's exactly what they think
>than to wear wool
>wool
Holy frick, has she never seen an animal before? Does she realize people shear sheep as an act of kindness to the sheep?
Did they take another pic but from the front?

If they used the Adam West aesthetics instead of the Burton aesthetics no one would be complaining and the the cartoony shit would fit right in.
Well i guess at the time Adam West's Batman was like yo mama's Batman, and that was not excellent.
Carried by Arnie and Uma. It would be genuinely terrible without them.
>Carried by Arnie and Uma.
This. And Chris O'Donnell was really a whiny b***h in this film.
they got the name placement right
Prime Uma and Alicia.
