No, but it's underrated on Cinemaphile. It gets overrated everywhere else though so it balances out.
Not even in top 20
mhm.. if there's anything better, i don't wanna know it
Better Call Saul is better overall with an infinitely better finale
I understand why some people like BCS more than BB, but finale was objectively garbage.
Why kind of butthole names their son after himself and then actually calls him Junior? Worst thing he did in the show. Imagine being going by Junior every day.
His name is Flynn now.
Just look at his eyes. He's got lifeless eyes, black eyes, like a doll's eye. He's more machine now than man, twisted and evil
Tony Soprano.
It's not even the greatest of it's era (Mad Men)
Still good though.

They've spelt it wrong, it's actually Chornobyl.
You're not actually a woman
>one woman does the work of 100 men
>leaves the chat
>the woman was just a stand-in for the bunch of other people that would have made the show boring
>people would have disliked the chaos of a bunch of russian 'experts' fighting against their government as much as cooperating with it
>we had to pare it down
>this is why we gave her a plotline where she breaks into quarantine zones to do interviews and made her smugly arrogant the entire time
the cope surrounding that character is the worst thing about discussing chernobyl
>Is it the greatest TV show ever made?
No.
Twin Peaks had its moments, but it should have been a single season with a resolution. Season 2 go completely off the rails and season 3 was a joke.
Imagine getting filtered by Twin Peaks
>it should have been a single season with a resolution
You missed the point

I think DBZ was better.
I didn't care for it. Dropped it around the part where some plane crashed or something.
From the last couple episodes of Season 1 until the demise of Gus, it is.
It's not even the greatest AMC show ever made
Sopranos > Better Call Saul > Breaking Reddit
For me, its picrel
GOT>BB>TWD
Meme soap opera show
Frick off
It has some of the greatest highs, with peak writing. The few episodes (everyone knows them) are genuinely amazingly written, and the acting is amazing.
Vince and team are genuinely talented at setting up plot, til the dominoes collapse at a crucial episode. Its rewarding to watch those episodes come and witness the story.
also, Walter is a brilliantly written MC, where from EP.1 you feel why he does everything and you are convinced to walk with him into hell.
Only downsides
- extremely boring lows, that BBgays copy by saying it is slowburn psychological kino
- only a handful of good characters, with the rest being boring or annoying cliches
- zero rewatchability. perhaps its the boring ass setting, but BB is mostly not that cool or funny other than a few key moments. and the plot twists arent as clever the next time round.
The Office is greatest tv show ever made.
True Detective S1 is easily one of the best seasons ever, but overall the show doesn't stand up
Sopranos is clear
>but overall the show doesn't stand up
What show? There is just one season...
No one watched these shows anon, the whole board is a meme
The Sopranos
The Shield
Twin Peaks
The Wire
True Detective
The thinking Chad's top five TV kinos.
Solid list. The Shield is the only one I haven't seen but the other 4 probably get in my top 5 too
Oh man, you owe it to yourself to watch it. It is probably the only show I can think of that starts strong and yet keeps building and building, somehow becoming more kino until the very end. And now get the frick out of this thread before some motherless wienersucker spoils it for you. Make a thread when you've finished it, this board needs more threads about The Shield.
Good shit, I'll give it a go after I finish re-watching Sopranos
No, Gunsmoke was.
I have never ever been so disappointed by a show. I came in expecting something that rivalled Sopranos.
What I got was a growling completely unthreatening man fricking himself over constantly and his ugly c**t wife, his mongoloid son, and their wacky misadventures which always consists of Hank sabotaging his and Jesses business by being a greedy gay, barely escaping by the skin of their nuts, and then it all starts over because WE NEED MORE MUNEH.
>Oh but the theme of the show is how pride destroys us
Dont care, still fricking moronic. Walter is completely unlikeable. There is nothing about him that is relatable or fun to watch.
Also the episodes are all 15 minutes too long. If you just cut out all the scenes where the boring homosexual characters just stood there gawking and looking at eachother trying to be "tense" and "epic", it would fit in 30 min.
Also regarding "epic" this show is unironically so fricking reddit, where everything is just building up to another EPIC WALTER MOMENT where he goes macgyver batman, like when he blew out every single widow in a building and somehow everyone inside was just fine. SO HECKING EPIC, frick this show
What you got was kino.
Also breaking bad is better than sopranos.. just because BB has a more reddit fanbase doesn't effect their overall ratings for me.
theres nothing kino about an inept selfdestructive scrawny homosexual bumbling his way through life with the power of luck, coincidence and contrived writing.
You might argue that Jesse is supposed to be the relatable good character but name one thing he actually does other than screw up, get high, bicker with Hank, screw up again, and look distressed when shit goes wrong.
Say what Skylar does other than look ugly, b***h, moan, look ugly, cuck walt, look ugly, and complain.
Say what Walt Jr does other than slur his words. Like for real, what does he ACTUALLY contribute other than being another hurdle for Hank to avoid. Its not like he is doing the "Balancing two lives" routine, he does both of them terribly.
The only good characters were guys like Mike, who actually showed competence and did things without preamble.
Second to Dragon Ball Z.
Why does Carnivàle never get a mention?
