It's good. The first season they clearly were finding the balance between Seth's "I want to make more TNG" and Fox's demands of "it has to have jokes." It seems like now that Season 3 is on Hulu they just dropped the joke premise all together and it's effectively just Trek-but-with-different-proper-nouns.
Season 3 feels off and trying even harder to win reddit and twitter to its side.
It's running previous good stories into the ground and its new ones are not so good.
I fricking can't stand the new girl either and they force her into everything.
It is unironically the best show currently airing in terms of handling controversial social issues and recontextualizing them with scifi concepts. That's also what Star Trek did well and if you liked that about original Star Trek you will appreciate that about The Orville.
it was very good since you could interpret as pro or anti trans. Also it was about defying social pressure and authorities. This is the kind of writing Strange New Worlds cant manage.
There’s nothing good about “pro-trans” it shouldn’t even be worth discussion cause transsexual is not a real thing and shouldn’t even be implied as something that should be encouraged. Why would a sane man wanna watch the pros/cons of trans it’s a joke
because you want to understand the viewpoints of others under the belief that reconciling those views against your own is the path to wisdom >Among flippant people the joke is always assumed to have been made. No one actually makes it; but every serious subject is discussed in a manner which implies that they have already found a ridiculous side to it. If prolonged, the habit of Flippancy builds up around a man the finest armour-plating against the Enemy that I know, and it is quite free from the dangers inherent in the other sources of laughter. It is a thousand miles away from joy: it deadens, instead of sharpening, the intellect; and it excites no affection between those who practise it.
in the episode the character reverts back to her biologic sex. Anyway will live in dark times with wokie goons controling public discourse and requiring one to demonstrate 'faith' in the absurd idea that people can change their gender. So you have to play along until they are defeated by reality.

morons
it was about letting the person make the choice for themselves
who also happened to be a child but maga hats all around I guess
When people do low-effort, highly bannable threads like yours on something nobody is watching like The Snoreville, let us remember the following:
>Lost 75% of it's audience between S1 Ep1 and Ep2 for a reason >Lost the other 50% between Ep2 to S1 finale >Came out of the gate strong for S2 with a whopping 2 share which WWE does on a Thursday, but flatlined immediately and moronic RLM numbers of literal-whoness 1 share >S3 has no viewing numbers released yet
...so no. It's not worth watching, and the good news is, nobody else is watching it either.
I still haven't gone all the way through season 1, but a lot of the scenarios are just kind of annoying even with the awful
"humor" aside. Like they keep going under cover on these alien planets, but keep behaving like uninformed morons every time and blow their cover.
This is one of my bigger complaints. In star trek they made an effort to refer to "protocol" and established ways that things are done to stay safe, but in The Orville they just bumble into moronic situations and people get killed just because they approached something in the worst way possible.
I thought the Ep 2 of this season was particularly bad for this. Some fricker has half a spiderface thanks to infectious agent and it's like quarantine or restraints don't exist in Orville universe
I watched it and I actually found myself wishing it leaned MORE into the comedy than not
When it's trying to be serious it's just TNG but not as good because there's no stakes and who cares. The "serious" plots are generally just shit you've already seen without even a twist. Some of them are ok though, but generally just meh.
When the show is being funny it's at least entertaining enough
I just finished season 2 so I dunno how season 3 is so far
>The Orville >The Orville: New Horizons >The Orville: Far Point Seven >The Orville: Pioneer >Orville >The Orville: Endeavor >The Orville: Mercer
Make it happen, Disney
Better than any Star Trek made since Deep Space 9.
It is pozzed, but only as much as TNG and DS9 were pozzed. Quaintly pozzed like you used to enjoy when you were in your teens and not so jaded by this shit world.
I am an omega Chud. I want all blacks deported out of America and sent to Liberia.
S1 was good enough don't start if you can't stop there

>they just dropped the joke premise all together
seems that way. i think i laughed a total of one times (cowboy isaac)
About 60% pozzed

Last week's episode was anti-trans

Can’t wait til we’re gonna be challenged to understand the beliefs of pedos
If it's not real why are you so mad about it?
Reread your question and realize how much of a moron you actually are
>transsexual is not a real thing
in the episode the character reverts back to her biologic sex. Anyway will live in dark times with wokie goons controling public discourse and requiring one to demonstrate 'faith' in the absurd idea that people can change their gender. So you have to play along until they are defeated by reality.

it was ambiguous and not toxic one sided woke trash like 90% of the shit being produced today.

>big audience == good show
you're just describing the process of family guy watchers being filtered
>Snorville-coping
>blame the messenger of failed media not the media or creators thereof
It's not my fault nobody is watching it, anon.
Release those Hulu viewing numbers and let's see why they got kicked off real media into Hulu-land.
>big audience + success is le bad!
Fricking kekcope.
>snoreville
back to your general troony
OP-
>Is it worth watching or no? And how pozzed is it?
Me (proving it is garbage tax dodging personified)-
>no, not worth watching and here is why nobody is watching it in the real world
You (butthurt)-
>le frick you how dare you Seth is my personal friend!
Everyone else-
>Snoreville who? Nobody I know watches it. Never even heard of it.
>lost 75% of audience
>lost the other 50%
The last episode had a message about how kids should transition.
>the trolls have settled on talking among themselves

I rather watch family guy. It's that bad. Don't watch shit.
I watched it and I actually found myself wishing it leaned MORE into the comedy than not

I wish it was a parody of woketrek but it isn't
SNW is unironically better.
SNW is funnier without even trying. S3 of the Orville is just sad, there is no comedy whatsoever.
the isaac one-liners are the best jokes and the only ones that happen regularly in S3
>numerical totality
Hope this writer was fired.
The acting in SNW is so bad it reminds me of Star Trek fan productions.
Orville makes SNW look like Shakespeare.
Better than any Star Trek made since Deep Space 9.
It is pozzed, but only as much as TNG and DS9 were pozzed. Quaintly pozzed like you used to enjoy when you were in your teens and not so jaded by this shit world.

I enjoy the Orville.
Ok I will give it a shot hopefully you aren’t some well seasoned shill
It's really fricking good.
Watch it for Ensign Hottie. We must do all in our power to keep her employed.
Her acting is horrible and the only reason she's on the show is so Seth can frick her.
That's good enough for me.

OFFICIAL EPISODE GUIDE
S1:1,4,11
S2:3,4,6,7,8,9,10,11,13,14
It's sort of pozzed but with some backdoor based shit to go with it
>And how pozzed is it?
EXTREMELY! Avoid, it's really not a good show and not worth sitting through every single episode's propaganda.
