65. Superman Son of Kal-El #13 (DC Comics)

96. Superman Space Age #1 (Of 3) (DC Comics)
Looks like Clark's solo book can't keep up with Jon's.

I'm not reading your dumb comic until Jon gets a bf who isn't some literal who.
Your example is kinda dogshit. You're not wrong but your comparing and ongoing to a mini that's not in universe. You should compare it to Action Comics, which is probably ranked even worst.
Also stop letting media live in your head rent free.
Anon worlds finest and Clark’s dark crisis book both ranked higher than Jons book. That and 65th isn’t anything to brag about, especially when you realize that Jon is tanking the main Superman book and the entire franchise. But you’re a homosexual who agrees that the LGBT movement only exists as a way for corporate America and the government to oppress the people of this country
Are you really comparing between underperforming shit because one is not doing as bad? The fact a superman title cannot break into the top 50, is rather sad.
World's Finest broke into the Top 50 but OP didn't seem to mention that
>World's Finest broke into the Top 50 but OP didn't seem to mention that
Not only isn't World's Finest not a solo title, it's a title starring Batman whose solo title is this month's best selling book. So obviously it's not fair to compare them.
And the expectations on Superman Space Age were huge, and the storytime was very well received here.
We can obviously look at Action Comics (which is Clark's current solo series) but that didn't even make it into the top 100.
But Superman Space Age has Batman in it
I mean it has Batman, I wouldn't call it a Superman title.
>Why is the main Superman book selling better than a non-canon book that costs six dollars more?
I don't like Taylor's shit but this isn't hard to figure out.
Action Comics and Detective Comics will always inherently sell less than the main Superman or Batman comics, that's how it's always been.
Actually I just noticed you posted Space Age and not Action Comics.
Anyways, Space Age is a mini that's not even in-universe, and previous Superman runs have sold way better, so I think Jon is actually just selling like this in comparison.
>37 Tomasi Superman
>65 Gay Superman
What's Tomasi doing currently? I always find his work enjoyable
He's writing the Mighty for Image Comics.
Why didn't DC renew his contract after his run on Detective Comics?
LMAO Tomasi is getting booted from DC to and have to take his "Superman ideas" to Image for a bootleg Superman.
Meanwhile, Tom "the King" Taylor gets back to writing the real deal.
Because he's no good.
>Tom Taylor shill in desperation mode
>and have to take his "Superman ideas" to Image for a bootleg Superman.
So you never read the Mighty. You'd be b***hing about it if you actually knew what the series was about.
>So you never read bootleg Superman?
No.
>soi pretending to be chad
kek
You're missing the point.
Tomasi. Got. Booted.
He's fired. Gone. Out the door.
If he was an excellent writer then DC wouldn't have gotten rid of him.
Facts are facts.
>reddit spacing
That's a good illustration of yourself
I'm not the one seeing reddit everywhere like a schizo.
>If he was an excellent writer then DC wouldn't have gotten rid of him.
> He thinks DC isn't ran by clowns
I hope Zaslav massacre the staff.
Superman is gay now and you enjoy it.
Facts are facts.
>If he was an excellent writer then DC wouldn't have gotten rid of him.
Take a look at the current roster of DC writers and say that again.
Tom your designated board is right there
I’m starting to become convinced all of these Jon threads are Tom Taylor himself desperately trying to generate interest in Jon, since no one talks about him otherwise here.
It won’t work Tom. Not only have you permanently damaged the character and the brand, but you’ve also made Jon a partisan and a laughingstock. You’ve failed.
No surprise. DC has tried to turn Superman into a symbol for homosexuality to make him stick out.
>96. Superman Space Age #1 (Of 3) (DC Comics)
Overpriced out-of-continuity mini gets oversold by a mainstream title. Shocking. (Not as shocking as dishonest OP thesis, though.)
>Superman: Space Age is better than Action Comics and Son of Kal-El
>Wonder Woman: Historia is better than Trial of the Amazons
>Catwoman: Lonely City is better than the Tini Howard run
why doesn't DC just take the elseworlds talent and put them in charge of canon?
I know your bait had to do with homosexual superman vs non gaygopt superman, but the fact that we compare books of supposedly flagship characters of DC not even in the top 50 feels kinda pathetic
The only flagship DC has is Batman.
Not true.
DC also has Joker.
Isn't that Jon issue introducing this new character from some CW show? Bound to get a boost because of speculators.
Tom Taylor right now.
Taylor always ensures his books pander to de lower common denominator. This is why his books keep selling despite writing quality.
I don't get why this is the case. I haven't come across anyone who likes current Jon and there's much praise for Space Age and current Action Comics (well, not so much here).
