Is omni man really about to get a fricking redemption arc? Is that even possible after we watched him slaughter thousands of people at the end of season 1?

It was just a prank bro.
It's ok as long as he dies
He does
Why not? He's saved billions of lives, his actions come out to be a net positive.
He killed way more, dumbass. Incase you're forgetting how old he is.
From the show so far, he hasn't. He massacred Earth and failed to protect the bug people. In fact he lead danger to them and now their entire race is extinct just because he stayed there.
To be fair he never put HIS son (not the future version of him) in the same trouble Omni Man did. I think that's what stings.
>their entire race is extinct just because he stayed there
But they aren't, though.
He will say he identifies as a super-hero again so it's ok.
In superhero comics that's nothing new.
Just read the comics, moron, the only issue with the show is the length of time between the events and meeting with Nolan again.
Yes
This
Bad example
No dragonbalz for omni mans murders
Never forgiven, more just fearfully ignored in the hopes he doesn't murder the entire planet
Not comparable at all, death pretty much means absolutely nothing in DB
He and Nappa blew up a city when they first arrived on Earth, those people weren't resurrected. He also blew up that planet of bug people on the way to Earth. I guess that was filler but he definitely destroyed planets and killed millions of innocents while serving Frieza.
His only victims that were resurrected were the people he killed in the stadium when he turned Majin. That's a very small portion of all the blood in his hands though.
I feel those people were resurrected by the "revive everyone killed by Frieza and his men"
Which would have revived Nappa if it was counting Vegeta. It's funny how TFS actually followed through with that.
Probably not, the point of that wish was to resurrect the Namekians. Mr. Popo didn't specify Namekians when he worded the wish (unless he did in Japanese? I dunno), but Shenron might have just assumed it, or it was a minor writing error. Either way it didn't seem like Shenron was resurrecting everyone killed by Frieza's army in the entire goddamn universe, that would be crazy.
Popo did state that the people were on a faraway planet
There’s a time limit to resurrections iirc. Bejita has been killing planets since childhood so the blood on his hands that won’t be going anywhere is at least somewhat comparable to what Nolan did.
Are we talking about namek because he killed a bunch of them and when they attempted to wish them back the ones he killed stayed dead because he wasn't working for Frieza.
He killed a village on Namek, which weren't revived when the wish to undo Frieza's victims was made. And then Vegeta laughed and dabbed on everyone for it.
He felt bad about it in Super, though.
Vegeta is only ever not a villain in DBS and he kind of earns a redemption in DBS by helping to save the universe on more than one occasion. He's a straight up villain all the way through the Cell arc and even in the Buu arc he's straight up told he's going to hell when he dies and only kind of sort of has redemption by the very end of the arc by helping to save the universe from Buu. In DBZ they mostly just put up Vegeta because they have to because he's too strong to easily put down without possibly destroying the world or there is a bigger villain that they need his help with (even though he usually makes things worse by holding the villain/idiot ball himself).
BEJITA.. what are you doing here?
morons, this isn't a cash-grab anime.
>Is omni man really about to get a fricking redemption arc?
That's the neat thing, he won't
[there's no arc]
Have... have people really not read Invincible on this board?
Like I get it not finishing it, but this is like in the first few arcs. Way before the 50th for sure.
There are cartoon only fans for THIS? Wow, just wow.
Can't imagine how they'll feel when actual shit happens later, but then since it's Invincible/Kirkman it also barely ever matters.
Just keep an eye on Robot.
Dude, I've seen people here whining and crying about spoiling stuff that came out almost 20 years ago.
There's no saving them... if you care THIS MUCH, then you could have found time to read the fricking book!!
In the break between seasons I reread Invincible. It was as mid as it was the first time, with a few peak moments. This is legit the worst thread I ever seen on Cinemaphile since coming here around 2007.
God damn.
Nobody here reads comicbooks.
or watches cartoons, we just b***h about things based off twitter screen caps now.
>Wow, just wow.
bait
I want my man dinosaurus to rile up all the ted posters
i doubt
Read the comic bro.
You're a normie. That is sad. I feel bad for you. You aren't a real fan.
Is Sasuke really about to get a fricking redemption arc? Is that even possible after we watched him slaughter thousands of people at the end of Shippuden?
Sasuke isn't a good example because him and Orochimaru getting forgiven at the end of Naruto was fricking stupid.
>>>>>>>>>>>Lol you and Kakashi are totes adorbs
And it all comes round again. He said that about Vincent Price.
That's a really bad example, Sasuke is like my least favorite rival ever.
Pic related is GOAT. Never redeemed. Never seeks redemption. Never strays from his path just to make the hero seem cooler.
>never redeemed
He literally goes off to make MMOs for kids and becomes co-workers with Yugi by the end of the canon movie. But it also helps that he only ever attempted murder, which is true of just about everyone in this universe.
>which is true of just about everyone in this universe
Do the deadly card games not count?
The deadly card games are the preferred/usual method of attempted murder after Pegasus shows up, so they count.
>He literally goes off to make MMOs for kids and becomes co-workers with Yugi by the end of the canon movie.
No he doesn't, he ends the movie busting his way into heaven to duel the Pharoah. This is the man who defied the afterlife itself to play a card game.
Yes he's actually canonically allowed to be there because past life he was a pharaoh and all that, but that just doesn't sound as impressive as Stargating his ass into heaven.
The MMO thing was before the movie in the Transcend GAME manga. The co-worker thing is after he gets back from dueling Atem.
Aside from being genuinely unpleasant to be around what does he have to apologize for?
Kaiba literally turned an evil military industrial corporation into a card game corporation that benefits people. He's consistently a force for good in the world. He does nothing wrong the entire show after the first episode where he stole a card from an old man. He's easily done more good for the world and less bad than Atem.
Redeeming someone like Sasuke is literally the thesis of the story. And his kill count is less than 20, all nameless Samurai warriors who were trying to kill him for breaking into the Kage summit. His kill count is less than the heroes.
>Is omni man really about to get a fricking redemption arc?
Redemption is his whole character arc in the comic.
The events in the first season are him at his worst and the entire rest of his time in the story is him trying to make up for it.
It can work if the point is he can't be redeemed but should be allowed to do good for the benefit of others, not for his own sake. That would be a neat character exploration.
I hear he got it easier in the comics and hope he suffers more in the animated version. I hear Mark wasn't nearly as hostile towards him in the comic, and if that's true then it's a good first step.
People are about to discover just how poorly written Invincible is.
I mean, he still gets killed by Thragg in the end.
It's what's trendy nowadays: Give evil characters who did genocides a redemption arc
See Kratos for more
