In all seriousness, no. Not even close. She-Hulk was a lot of fun during the Byrne era. She's a perfectly serviceable character if the writer is a coomer who is willing to sexualize her and has an actual sense of humor. It's just that modern comic and tv writers suck

The dregs of the Marvel and DC universe are littered with much worse characters, most of which you've never heard of because they've been buried and forgotten. Shit, anyone remember Speedball? How the frick did he get his own series?

She Hulk is excellent when a writer remembers that, despite her immense powers, she's still a huge awkward weenie with massive personality flaws. The tv series felt like the world couldn't handle her perfection rather than allowing her moments to be a bumbling, blistering buffoon from time to time. Everyone else is a comedic tumbling foil. She comes out unscathed. The b***h needed to be like Elaine from Seinfeld or Elliot from Scrubs.

One big part of She-Hulk's character that the show did not and really could not depict is that she's a grunt superhero. She does not have super intelligence, especially compared to the Avengers leadership so she's often in the field just doing what other people tell her to do and helping out other superheroes. And from her perspective this just becomes a job. She clocks in and out as needed, and doesn't really worry about the "plot" because it's all beyond her pay scale. But this also humanizes her to readers and makes her more of a working woman character. When she gets done with superheroing she just goes back to a relatively normal apartment and binge watches crappy TV shows.

      Anonymous

When you put that way she sounds like a loser.

        Anonymous

She thinks so too a lot of the time and has retired from superheroing more than once because she thinks she's just sort of there in the background a lot.

Which actually isn't true btw and she has gone on grand cosmic-tier adventures as well as played a pivotal role in saving the world many times over. She is 100% a top level superhero, she just doesn't want to admit it to herself.

          Anonymous

BTW Bruce think's *he* is the loser and She-Hulk is the one with her shit together.
Bruce thinks She-Hulk is a full blown superhero while he's just a monster.
