Unless they think that sticking to the original plot will remark the negative image that they "accidentally" created for her, and decide to "subvert" again.
She'll get what's coming in the domestic abuse arc
What Amber was Sweet and kinda preppy that stuck by Mark, and was totally excited to be his girlfriend. Mark saw the Dangers she was putting her in and dumped her to protect her. Amber from the comic definitely did not deserve the domestic Abuse.
While I hope the domestic Abuse happens In the series, I see her being the strong independent woman instead Arc, who will probably shoot down Mark as soon as he tries to protect her.
If the creator and director didn't see that even women hater her in season one and don't try to correct it by cutting back on the woke shit I can only see even more hate towards her.
>comic Amber >Well I didn't know, but you're a superhero! That's fricking hot and amazing! >show Amber >Yeah I knew all along and you are a piece of shit for saving people all the time instead of working at a soup kitchen with me! You went and saved everyone at the college including me, but you didn't defend me!
It is baffling how wrong they got her.
>>Yeah I knew all along and you are a piece of shit for saving people all the time instead of working at a soup kitchen with me! You went and saved everyone at the college including me, but you didn't defend me!
this shit right here is why making her a manipulative/abusive b***h makes the most sense, otherwise it just comes of as poorly written to me
the best part is since everyone hated her, even "the target audience", they're going to continue having her be an abusive and sanctimonious b***h and delay mark getting with eve to continue forcing this turd down the audience's throat
I think it's possible, though it'll be incredibly tough due to how much emphasis they gave to this new amber. This isn't to say that she should still be with Mark, but fix her character as a minor character with period check-ins (spaced far in-between) to see how she's been. This really isn't that far off from how they did things with Amber in the comics with seeing how after a fricking long time.
If we're being real Amber in the comics was also an "obstacle". Amber was Mark's first girlfriend and made him realize that naivety of trying to be a Hero and have a successful life/relationship, in a funny way, had it not been for Amber, Mark would've never gotten together with the best girl of the story

maybe the goal is to flip the script, with first making us hate Amber, but then we feel sympathy for her next season when her boyfriend starts beating her up. They could be going for unexpected face turns like they do in Cobra Kai.
how do they want to make her redeem herself from knowingly ruining marks reputation on a campus he was planning to attend, with something she KNEW to be incorrect
her redeeming qualities were supposed to be that she's a radical feminist and black supremacist who reads Ta Na Hesi Coates. When Mark is first talking her up to William, he brings up the fact that she reads Ta Na Hesi Coates as the main reason he thinks she's so cool and he's not good enough for her.
Honestly, the whole writing of Invincible seems poor. Like, Mark knocks out Titan as he's helping in a bank robbery, and then a few episodes later he shows up doing more work for Machine Head as if that never happened. He ought be in jail, unless you want to tell me that Mark and Nolan just left him to run away rather than get the police or GDA to arrest him, or that he somehow broke out of jail offscreen. Also, why the frick does he have a name like Titan? He's not a superhero, he doesn't have a reason to go by an alias. Also that one guy with the cannon for an arm has a similar unexplained reappearance act.
Then there's the big build up in episode 7. Cecil says for him to teleport Mark and Eve to the GDA, they'd need that wristwatch thing like he has, so he can't do it. Then later in the episode, he's about to teleport to them to give them two of those wristwatches before he calls it off to instead teleport that kaiju thing. He says he can't teleport all 3 people at once, as if that means he wouldn't have the time to get in and do it unless Nolan is distracted, but he can teleport himself quickly enough and often enough to dodge Nolan trying to kill him over and over, and can teleport the Kaiju in one piece. Let's not forget that Mark's mom just calls Eve on the phone late in the episode, she could have just done that immediately when they first found out Mark was with her. Also, they wasted time convincing Eve not to help Nolan/Mark fight because for some reason they didn't just open with "Nolan killed the Guardians of the Globe".
She won't be around much longer

>domestic abuse arc
is that unironically a thing?
based if true

honestly i could see her getting offed in the invincible war arc by a pissed of mark alternate who had his life ruined by her somehow
Yes sex scenes

No. Literally there to be an obstacle for Mark to get Eve. Might as well have her name be plot point.

>Black person
Nope
She won't be around for long, that is the redemption.
who dis
Angry black woman
I mean its not like she's evil or anything, she's just a b***h.

It correctly shows that if you turn a character black, nobody wins.
It's possible, but only through delicious ryona

She did nothing wrong.
She is weak and could die easily
