Man nobody is clear on this stuff. I've read on reddit that some people will go off on the weekends for a tolerance break and for other reasons. My parents seem to think it's horrible to go off it for even a single day and I had to explain why this shit isn't a lethal drug.

I don't know what they are exactly, i never tried but i am in a life situation right now where i don't get anything done and just waste weeks on end, should I take a pill and see how it goes?

I don't want to say you're wrong but it's nowhere near as intense as you say. ADHD meds are so arbitrary. Doctors ask the patients what they want and go from there and then ask in a month if they either want a higher dose or a different med. I did my own research and settled on Vyvanse because of high reviews. For not Al prop if they take some ritalin they'll probably feel like they took a few redbulls but it won't kill them. If he has ADHD he'll feel normal and start cleaning his disgusting room for the first time. General doctors have no fricking clue what they're prescribing.
