Is this really an anime? I feel like I'm watching a kdrama instead. So much crying and soap opera every episode.

MHA is based, the crybaby is a carnegie hero medallion award personified. but this demon hunter guy is just a woman with a sword.

The most recent anime I think I’ve watched is Re:Zero’s second season. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but I’ve more reluctant to try newer things for the past few years now.

          Watch Baldios lil homie
There's tons of excellent anime outside the streamergay cancer and the normalgay "perfect blue is great because its le not like other anime" sphere of idiocy

Oh I know that for sure, I’ve been going through all of the 00s and 90s anime I can possibly find and have found all kinds of amazing stuff. It’s just if we’re talking as recent as this decade or even 2016-2019, I find it increasingly difficult to get into hyped up anime. I probably need to get back into digging deeper for better stuff because it probably is there.

I gave up on anime because of this show. The blond kid was making me feel distressed with the constant crying. Anime is over for me. Tv is my new best friend

I don't like the modern trend in so many shonen anime these days where each character will have one character trait, and every time we see them they'll just be doing a variation of whatever the gag is, and if they're reacting to something they'll just react with whatever that one gag is. This show does it, One Piece started doing it a while back, and the worst offender is that Black Clover show. Frick that shit. It's so much fricking filler. One character uses food magic and her gimmick is she uses anything as an excuse to make magic food "for someone else" then she decides she likes it and eats all or most of it. Another guy is obsessed with his sister. They're all like this. Every single character has this one trait and they'll just bring it up again and again. A new villain is introduced. Food chick "Oh! You better keep your energy up to fight that villain! Here, I made this magic food. Actually you only need a piece of it. Sistercon: "Oh no! He better stay away from my beautiful sister!" and they just pad everything by doing this with everything. In Demon Slayer this is mostly in the secondary slayers. They're just one-note comedy sidekicks.

Why do stupid fricking zoomers love this shit so much? What's the appeal? When someone won't stfu up about Naruto and One Piece, there is actual substance there why people would like it. This is just npc Algorithm anime

One of the worst pieces of shit that ever got popular, every character is despicable and every episode is just crying and screaming with overly emotional music

I liked season 1, nothing crazy but decent, it just needed better fights
The movie is like season 1 but revamped, with still the best fight yet adapted so far (Rengoku vs Akaza)
Season 2 is oddly directed, like, way too much comedy and strange edited, also, THE BIGGEST ASSPULLS I'VE SEEN, HOLY SHIT!
    Haven't watched 3 and most likely I won't

TL;DR: Daki has some big fat breasts

Have you never seen shounen before? It's known as the "crying and screaming" genre.
And all kdrama is based on japanese media btw.

My GF makes me watch it with her sometimes. To me it's the comedy bits as well, where people are just screaming constantly and making faces. Like that running gag? where the hero breaks the katana and the guy who makes them gets angry at him. Holy shit is it insufferable. Between that and the melodramatic monologues it's absolute torture

I've never seen this and I have no intention to but I always thought the main character with the green black checkerboard thing was a bulldyke until some anime gay told me it was a man recently.
