I've watched Seasons 1-5 over 20 times, easily, but to this day I have never finished the series because S6 bores me to tears and I inevitably give up and watch something else before I ever reach the finale

keisha should be a three episodes long with even more chris getting hooked with drugs and the real estate chick and tony pointlesly wasting everyones life

        >the real estate chick
She was no where near as hot as everyone fucking pretended she was
        I skipped all her scenes
        What a miserable fucking plotline

loved s5 the first time, thought it was worst the second time, it really takes a while to get going

irregulars around margins is one of the best episodes in the series as is test dream

I think every episode of S5 is excellent with the exception of In Camelot which may be the worst episode of the series

feech la manna plot is closest the series comes to gangster filler

and sentimental education is uh.. In Camelot at least feels like those S4 episodes with weird premise

            >feech la manna plot is closest the series comes to gangster filler
I mean, that can describe a lot of episodes, there's no overarching plot, and while Feech might be Ritchie Aprile 3rd Edition, Robert Loggia was awesome. Loved his spat with Paulie.
Sentimental Education was a good episode. In Camelot is absolute trash. The definition of useless filler and without any merit whatsoever. Episodes like A Hit is a Hit and Christopher kinda sucked but still had some really funny scenes. In Camelot had nothing of value and it's never brought up again, there's no reason to rewatch it

For years I’ve been baffled by In Camelot haters
It’s Tony finally realizing his dad was a piece of shit too. The whole episode was worth it for the flashback of Tony and his parents at the hospital. Tony choosing to lie for his dad was the last straw for him having a normal relationship with his mom

Why is it important for Tony to find out his dad was a typical mobster? Who fucking cares. It might be a revelation for Tony but it's a giant nothingburger for the audience that has to watch that piece of shit episode

                >Ugh why is Tong talking to this therapist about ducks?? I want to see the shooting parts

By S5 we've already learned everything about Tony psyche and personality and yes the therapist scenes become nothing more than an excuse to keep Lorraine Bracco around. In Camelot didn't teach us anything we didn't already know, much like the S6 episode "Join the Club" it was redundant

                >In Camelot didn't teach us anything we didn't already know
In Camelot is where Tony came to realize he had lionized his father too much and maybe his mother's behavior was a result of his abuse.

I never got the impression that he lionized his father, sure he looked up to him like any son would and followed in his footsteps but I don't recall him or anyone else acting like Johnny Boy was some kind of amazing person, except his mom saying he was a saint. He knew his dad was in the mob and did bad shit and so did we. I don't fucking care if he fucked some whore while his mom was in the hospital it's a big nothing

lol yeah his mom being a complete psychopath was a result of his dad sleeping around, when she knowingly married a gangster, that checks out

In Camelot was pure kino, Tony realising his dad was a cunt but still bragging about him to the boys, Fran clearly being a piece of shit too who was using him

it's very meandering and the 'conclusion' just comes out of nowhere with no fanfare. i'm not even just talking about the fade to black ending but the resolution with the crime family war and all of it, it just feels like a random sequence of events, not a story.

Stage 5 is my favorite Sopranos ep ever, it's packed with so much. I love the Johnny sac subplot, he had a shit death and had lost everything, but he still died amongst his loved ones. Plus the cleaver showing makes for such entertainment, from JT Dolan getting snubbed in recognition, Paulie Walnuts taking a call and answering in the theater, Carm recognizing the cheating boss archetype as Tony, Tony realizing the same and "playfully" threatening Chris, the recreation of an iconic Sopranos set made in an in universe movie, AJ's girlfriend getting confronted with the fact that AJ's not the manly man she wants nor is that wealthy, then fucking Carmine JR's wise sayings afterwards. It also gives us that mobkino Carmine SR story that shows how business minded he was (which contrasts with his successors.) Has a murder too. And Carmine JR comes to the smart realization that he doesn't need to be the boss anymore, going against the "stupidity" of his character. Even if Johnny Sac went against the code, even after he got real emotional (Phil kinda had a point that the famously cool headed John had become real hot headed in recent times), all the guys did a toast of respect for hims. And that incredible ending where Phil decides to get aggressive, and Chris simultaneously just realizes he's just going through the motions with Tony and none of them care about each other like they used to.

So much happens in this episode that deepens each character it spends time on while providing some action and an actual heartfelt moment. Plus Sydney Pollack killed it as that dr who went postal.

Watched this the other week. Is it just me or does NOTHING happen in Season 3? And Chris is barely in it

I thought it was the weakest one by far

1, 4 and 5 were the best ones. 6 was good but the finale could've been more exciting, maybe
