Is this the most overrated movie of all time? I can't think of anything with a more undeserved following.

Does it still have a following? I haven't seen anyone mention it in 10 years
it is still vicariously hated by all sÖys
The posters still adorn the walls if wiccan potheads in many apartment complexes, yes.
this was every douche nozzle in college's favorite movie
I almost got Awquitas Veritas tattoos…..
Whatever Black folk, I still think it’s a cool movie
Has Val Kilmer ever been in a good movie?
yeah, anon posted it
Yes
yeah
ywnbaw
I actually agree with both of these opinions but you are both still homosexuals8VXSj8
No, it has a small cult following but it's not that well received, well reviewed or loved as some people with a stick up their ass think.
Cinemaphile usually shits on it like you are right now. it's rare to see someone that likes it even more rare to see someone that likes the second one
So what about the cliffhanger at the end of Boondock Saints II in 2009?
Boondock Saints 2 is probably one of the top 5 worst movies i've ever seen
Wasn't there a documentary made about how the writer or director got a huge ego from the popularity of Boondock Saints? I heard the sequel sucked and never watched it. It's not just you.
absolutely nothing is more overrated
Gotta agree, it's not bad but it's not as great as it's made out to be, the story is fricking stupid for starters and the mafia in the godfather bears almost no resemblance to the actual mafia in either structure or how it operates
>the story is fricking stupid for starters
That's subjective lmao, I find it a very interesting story about how drugs ended up being one of the main causes of destruction for the Mafia, Vito was absolutely right to not want to deal with it, it only brought more trouble later down the line. Even if they all did pass, others (like the Colombians) could take it up and grow their own power, making them tougher competitors.
>the mafia in the godfather bears almost no resemblance to the actual mafia in either structure or how it operates
How so? The boss - captain - soldier organization was in place by the 30s at least. And even still, does it have to be? The movie's a critique on the American form of capitalism, they resemble businessmen as a stylistic choice on Coppola's part.
But that's not Part II.
Digits
I think morons dont get it
it is not even difficult concept but they really dont get it
The movie is not great because of the brothers
its because of rocco and the homosexual detective
thy carry the show and they make the funny dialogues
they are the heart
sure for 12 year old kids the brothers are cool as frick
maybe some old tards love them too as some shortbus version of taxi driver
but without the heart the movie goes to shitter
so take modern action movies and look for homosexual detective or rocco
they dont have it and they suck
this is film 101
>I can't think of anything with a more undeserved following.
Really, homie?
Everyone hated the prequels though.
that shit is better than the 70's porno tier shit. all they had were better effects
yeah tried watching it, actual hot garbage
only good part is DeFoe's performance, but then you may as well be praising Dungeons and Dragons as an underrated classic because Jeremy Irons kills it
also, just like The Dark Knight
It's a fun, entertaining flick with some funny moments. I enjoyed it but realize it isn't great cinema.
>great cinema
what does that even mean?
It's simple entertainment, not a work of art.
They're the best Bros in Broforce so that movie's alright for me
>Contrarian: The Thread
i just find it super comfy. older brother rented it from blockbuster when it was released because the cover looked cool and we sperged out about the stoopid frickin' rope scene and the firefight scene. a few years later i started seeing hot topic kids wearing the shirt around and it soured the movie for me a bit, but I still watch it occasionally. some pretty great moments throughout.
