I recently rewatched it and I was cringing at the forced celebrity guest appearances. The show has aged so badly.
Celebrity cameos were always going to age poorly. Writers couldn't predict Gaga, Dwayne Johnson (being so huge), or some shit from the year 2050 that'll be bigger than The Beatles.
Btw this also applies to The Sneedsons as well. And Matt Groening is a pedo that flew on Epstein's plane.

The final season is significantly worse after the reboot than the original series. You can tell there was definitely something off about it.

First run of the series is genuinely good. Groening might be a pedo creep, but him & his team knew how to make jokes. They take the "2+2=..." formula to heart, and it shows throughout the show.
The problem isn't with the show, it's with homosexual redditors (as always) who think they're a fricking genius because they can answer "4" to aforementioned "2+2=..."
