I forgot about that shit. Also isn’t that when they first introduced a spooky factor to the show? Like one of the girls comes out of the closet with a mask on
Yeah because abbott planted it in russell’s car to frame him for the shooting
That’s right. I really need to rewatch this show. I remember the tiger at the end being a little ridiculous but overall a kino show

It was more ridiculous when russell got shot in the head and survived but it was still kino. Just wish stevie had a bigger role than a glorified cameo.

wasn't it implied that he didn't survive? him disappearing at the end felt like it was kind of open ended

I meant more when he survived and got up immediately after
if eastbound and down ended with season 3, it would inarguably be the best McBride project. season 4 is garbage and really drags the show down as a whole, whereas Vice Principals' concision works in its favour
Gemstones is already a bloated mess, how many more fringe characters can they bring in and expect us to care about? season 2 was already quite rocky, and season 3 is even patchier
still, i give McBride and Hill props for continuing to try and make comedies that are actually funny in the current climate where everything is overblown prestige (look how terrible Barry became...)
I'm glad I never really saw any Eastbound past season 3...I guess I'm fine with stopping there. I'm on season 2 of Gemstones now and really liking it though.
Also loved Barry all the way through too. I didn't really care that it became darker more than funny later on
This. The anons who never finished the series after season 3 are all missing out on one of the most kino ending sequences to any sitcom-type comedy show ever. his African tribe wife and family and the part where they’re filming a movie adaptation of the Kenny Powers story with Stevie’s character played by a kid with Down’s syndrome will always crack me up
i found a clip on youtube and it includes the african family but just ends on kenny finishing the script for the movie. is there more to it where they show it being filmed?
It’s in the same montage that the African family is in but much earlier before the Batman origin story-esque part where April gets shot by a mugger in an alley after a night out at the theatre and dies in Kennys arms
i thought it was weird that there was an episode where they go on a field trip with kids that are supposed to be like 15 and then they show a pair of them fucking completely naked
also pic related is when i realized how fucking genius Goggins is
I prefer it to eastbound and gemstones so yes. its hilarious and tightly written, and gamby / russell have the best dynamic compared to their other shows.
hard to pick which one is best but i've only seen the first couple seasons of each, vice principals to completion. that one will always have a soft spot for me though
>the episode where russell pervs on gamby’s underage daughter’s friends
wtf
I forgot about that shit. Also isn’t that when they first introduced a spooky factor to the show? Like one of the girls comes out of the closet with a mask on
No, the first season finale when Gamby gets his car blown up and then shot by the masked person is when the spooky factor is introduced.
That’s right, I think the girl just comes out of the closet with a similar mask. Actually made me excited for his Halloween movie after seeing that
Yeah because abbott planted it in russell’s car to frame him for the shooting
And then you were sadly let down
Exactly

>they were 17, 364 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds you sick fuck!
She was so fucking cute and it almost sounded like she had a lisp
What is this phenotype?
i think Danny McBride refers to her as a mouse at some point in the show

>season 3
the first season is perfect, and it goes downhill after that
yes
ead was kino but gemstones s3 was shit
the second season was weaker than the first, but it was decent.

her at like 1:01 in is fucking CUTEEEEE
Vice Principals is the only one I've seen, but I remember it being so good that I'll go with yes
i thought it was weird that there was an episode where they go on a field trip with kids that are supposed to be like 15 and then they show a pair of them fucking completely naked

Eastbound & Down was funnier.
this chick reminds me of her and it's not just the glasses

has Danny McBride ever played a genuinely nice person in something?
