The only lolcow is the guy obsessed with July who keeps bumping these threads with his seetheposting at his abundant success. That poster wouldn't be YOU would it, anon?

lol, you don't get it and that's even better. It'd be one thing if Cinemaphile was made to look moronic by someone who set out to do it, but someone doing it without even understanding or caring that they've done it is just perfick.

I hope he goes back to that look on the 20 year anniversary of his Dr. Phil appearance.

Didn't he say the comic only cost 100k and only because he had to pay for a warehouse and he was publishing for the first time and all that?
I think he made like 3 mil off the first book and another 1 mil off the second. So that's 3.9 million he can pocket.

This math explains a lot about the current state of comics.

And the whole problems with crow sourcing. The comic is funded and successful before it goes to print. There's even less a need to insure quality here or even continue the series than there is in the main stream books he was supposedly trying to get away from.

      That's a huge drop.

Speculators don't buy issue #2, so there is always a huge drop off after the premier.

A warehouse and 8 full time workers cost far more than $100k

They are not full-time workers. At least they weren't full-time when the first book got made.

Even then they are working some amount. Having 8 people work just 15 hours a week will be a frick load of money

At least you're saving on marketing, Eric. Stop shilling your dreck here already. /shelf/ are the only ones here who actually buy shit, and none of them are moronic enough to fall for your grift.
