Incels hate women so much now that they refuse to see movies with female leads.

But why aren't women seeing it even if we agree this is men's fault?

        Anonymous

Because it's not aimed at women, it's aimed at apocalyptic sci-fi audiences, which consists of a niche community comprised mostly of males, and a lot of those males are incels who hate women so much they refuse to see movies with female leads.

It was really good. There was no yas queening until the last 10 minutes or so, the rest of the movie is action scenes and fun dialogue. All of the main characters are White. I’ll definitely be watching it again when it comes out on streaming.

It's abysmally depressing because the movie is actually good. The problem is the preconceived notions everyone has about the movie, due to Hollywood constantly feeding us shovel-loads of shit and pushing homosexual agendas. It's to the point where even good films are being pushed out because people have become so used to getting fricked over with every movie they go see. Kind of the same thing happening to all of society.

        Anonymous

That's a snapshot of your fricked up society and your Hollywood agenda, this film wasn't even made in the USA and they still tried to put an "African American" in it. There are none allowed here by law, even before the apocalypse.

It felt like a weird asset flip DLC of fury road. Like it doesn't really have any inherent cinematic value of its own to validate its existence, it's just an extended lore dump. It would be more compelling as a fanwiki page with some concept art thumbnails sprinkled in

      >good
It was mediocre at best. If you expect a movie like Fury Road with cool practical effects, non-shitty CGI and a lead that can at least act his part believably don't watch this. It's worse than Fury Road in literally every single way

It felt really long compared to fury road, I'm not sure I liked the chapter break format. Anya was kinda awkward and stiff, felt like she was trying too hard to imitate theron. It wasn't terrible however, but I wouldn't rank it the same as fury road. It meandered a lot more.

Saw it in theaters yesterday. Fury road was lightyears better. This was just okay it wasn't anything special. Her back story is fricking stupid and I think the first half of her as a child is atrocious.

It was a decent movie, but I’d say it’s the worst in the franchise. If you were like me and went in expecting more Fury Road you’re going to be disappointed apart from a scene or two. I don’t think it flopping has anything to do with it being female-led. I think people have just cut the theater out of their budgets in a borderline-depression economy and don’t mind waiting for streaming. Hollywood is going to have to reevaluate what they’re spending to make a movie because no way are they making a profit anymore on 9/10 releases.
