It still amazes me that the only manga & anime to perceive human relationships correctly was pic related.
Why do orientals not know how to write compelling and realistic relationships between characters?

HxH is pure shit.
Tell me your "not shit" shows, then.
Protip: you cant
any JoJo's bizarre adventure part, hokuto no ken, mob psycho 100, one piece, one punch man, Magi, chainsawman
>JoJo's bizarre adventure
What killed the hype?
Netflix publishing all the episodes at once and Stone Ocean being a shit part, it is ironic because Stone Ocean also killed JoJo's in the shonen jump, the next part is peak hype tho, one of the best histories ever told
stories*
A long running series that always resets with different characters is probably based but also moronic in the long run
epic bait
netflix homosexualry
ngl the first part of chainsawman is lame and the only good thing about it is the action but the current second part is peak KINO
Not completely gay but pretty Reddit too
>mob psycho
Seething piss tard

How does this series remain so sofisticated?
>sofisticated
You're brown, aren't you? Fricking esl monkey.
I enjoyed it and I fricking hate 99% of the shitty anime that gets "recommended" here.
Felt like I was a 10 year old boy again watching grand adventure and not really a shonen feel.
Other series focus on writing cool fictional characters
Hunter Hunter focuses on writing humans
How about you watch something that is not shonen shit then and realize how wrong you are

it is literally a seinen manga published in a seinen magazine
Reminder the rise of Cinemaphileedditors coming over to Cinemaphile as a result of Bane memes has led to a shift in taste on Cinemaphile
99% of the anime threads here are made by Cinemaphileedditors who only watch LE EPIC MANIME shonen trash and are too scared to post on Cinemaphile because no one wants to talk about the same 5 old classic anime that only entry level newhomosexuals know about. Then they cry about Cinemaphile having shit taste and proceed to buy their next avengers movie ticket.
Cinemaphile has actually done a fantastic job at keeping out you Cinemaphileeddit scum and so all you homosexuals come crying here because no one wanted to accommodate your newhomosexualry.
Also you all treat Cinemaphile as a place to ask for recommendations when
was made to deal with garbage threads like these that aren't actually discussing anything. This thread should be deleted but since Cinemaphile mods are garbage it won't be.
keyed
anime are 99% shit, why would you go to a place that likes the shitty 99% when you want to talk about the good 1%
t. guy who has seen 10 anime
Yu Yu Hakusho was better, also the relationships felt more real
Yu Yu has stupider shit in it than Hunter tho. I get Yu Yu was an influential manga but it hasn't aged well at all. HxH will probably be far more remembered in decades to come. I also hate how Yu Yu starts out as let's stop supernatural threats to I'M GONNA BE THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE IN THE RING. Like frick off with that Dragonball Shonen shit.
Huntertrannies have never recovered
the simple answer is conflict
they cannot write conflict
they cannot write character driven conflict
they cannot write Drama
Psychopath x Sociopath has very little to do with normal human psychology.
Why are you so scared of posting on Cinemaphile?
Because huntertrannies are the laughingstock of Cinemaphile
You know that’s not true piss gays get BTFOd in any thread
Low t
>friendless Cinemaphile trannies hate HxH
kek
SnK also does this, it's extremely honest and realistic
current thread is going just fine, it's rare that you see someone ever really get one over on a hunterchad, though falseflaggers are very prevalent
Yeah too bad HxH is like GoT and Berserk and will never be finished because the creator is a fat piece of shit who got too big for his britches
Series which get a conclusion have no soul tbh
Captcha: SJW D8P
The entirety of Yu Yu Hakusho and 400 existing chapters of HxH is essentially the length of having written AND fully illustrated around 50 entire movies by himself
One Piece is twice as long as both of those combined and Oda never complains about his back
And there's the OPtard that cant help but bring up One Piece at every opportunity
Why are huntertrannies so obsessed with One Piece?
Inferiority complex
>go to one piece thread on Cinemaphile
>ctrl f + "carrot"
>150 results, 81 related images
gee what a great audience
OPgays are literally the biggest autistic trannies alive next to MLP and Pokemon
>Why are huntertrannies so obsessed with One Piece?
To be fair they are obsessed with every manga more popular than HxH.
See
That's just a storyboard though
Stop lying
>Congratulations!
It was part of the weekly series where he had broken his arm and couldn't draw well
Later cleaned up for volume release
Best part of Greed Island is him doing his self-insert character
its pretty crazy how HxH mogs the entire industry while only really having a few major arcs
>Greed Island
>Chimaera Arc
>Yorknew City
Like ffs Chimaera ant arc came out over 10 years ago and people havent topped it yet
>people havent topped it yet
Kimetsu no Yaiba did
lol
lmao even
Cope in silence.
KnY fans are doing just that, I don't think I've seen a Demon Slayer/KnY thread in months
theres nothing to discuss, KnY has literally no emotional or character depth, just mindless action
Still a fantastic anime but it's definitely not something that generates much discussion
When new season comes back next year it will draw everyone back for the spectacle before it's forgotten again at the end of the season
It’s ended as the most popular manga in history.
It did everything right that it attempted to do
There's some frickery in the election arc / 2011 anime climax but it's water under the bridge at this point
>trannies are mentally ill
What’s new?
Samegay
araki has a wife to please
It's weird I watched this series thinking it'd be like One Piece and Naruto but it's way fricking better without autism and fricking coomer bait. Why can't all anime manga take the Hunterpill?
Don't act like Cinemaphile has the absolutely worst taste in anime. At least on Cinemaphile we can talk about good anime like Cowboy Bebop which Cinemaphile mostly has never seen.
HxH is liked by shounentards who are yet to experience what true quality is like. They're surrounded by shounenshit and only shounenshit and thus their definition of quality is only limited to that range.
Narushit, MHA, Shitsu Kaisen, etc..., even their primitive senses allow them to realize how formulaic and repetitive the formula is. But HxH is different, and that is why it strikes them as a masterpiece. This series takes every shounen trope and twists it in some way, with no further thought. Gon is slightly deeper than your average MC, the power system is organized and not a vague asspull factory (well, some of it), the world doesn't revolve around the MC and many other "positives"...
Although that is good in some way HxH's merits end at just that. Again, this series is every shounen trope reversed, with NO further thought. It is the definition of superficial beauty as the writer barely touches any subject beyond surface level elements. The worldbuilding is non existent, the power system virtually has no impact on the world despite being incredibly OP, and the most significant element of HxH's world (DC) is still barely explored after 20 years. All of what makes up an intriguing shounen is simply nonexistent in HxH.
The series is also praised for its subversions when they're not even good. Every subversion in HxH is your typical shounen trope reversed, with NO further thought. Instead of writing a great climax in your own style, the writer completely ditches that and conflicts are usually solved in an underwhelming way/offscreen. Terrible.
In conclusion, HxH tries to be fresh and better yet spends zero effort to achieve that, and for that reason it will always be the worst. Mocked by what it tries to surpass and reach alike. Far from being the best shounen, and a joke at novelty.
But alas, the shounentard is far from reaching such conclusions, and that is why it is popular and "good". Indeed HxH is extremely good, if you're a shounentard.
Frick you, you just copied the Naruto and Harry Potter pasta
I'm gonna have to stop you after that first paragraph and let you know that I'm a Hunter x Hunter fan and that I've also seen Neon Genesis Evangelion and Serial Experiments Lain, so I kind of know my shit and can separate what's quality or what isn't
>NGE and Lain
Not making a great case for yourself, sir
>woah the good guys uses a new power we didn't know about to beat the bad guy

Well wanpissers?
I tried watching this but I hated how gay it was. Are the two boys gay for each other? They always blush when the other one is around and it's fricking gay as shit.
They are not gay but the author certainly is.
>westoid once again cannot possibly fathom male friendship and just applies monkeypox to everything
Everytime
>Are the two boys gay for each other?
Yes. It’s canon.
anime-only filler
Success breeds jealousy
Huntertrannies BTFO!!!
It's not because they're gay necessarily, but because they wanted the fujoshi audience. Which was proven to be a smart decision because that's huge part of why it's popular.
The non-fujoshis can appreciate the plot and the fight scenes.
Pretty much. It's never spelled out explicitly, but there's A LOT of gay subtext. And the HxH fanbase is full of gay pedophiles who clearly see them that way.
Togashi has a weird obsession with LGBT shit. Before YYH, he wanted to write a series about a troony basketball player but Jump wouldn't let him do it. Even YYH has a bit of LGBT subtext though not as much as homosexual x Homo.
doesn't Yusuke kick a tyranny in the balls in the triad part?
grabs them once to confirm
then again to throw his opponent against a wall
>the only manga & anime
Whenever you see a statement like this, it's an admission that this person has only watched flavor-of-the-month shit for teenagers or lonely 20-somethings. The Japanese comics industry is such a behemoth that it's literally impossible to not find several series that fit whatever criteria you have. Of course you're generally not going to get the most compelling or realistic characters when all you're doing is watching cartoon adaptations for preteen boys and socially stunted manchildren.
tl;dr read manga; the anime industry tends to greenlight adaptations that appeal to a dumber or more obsessive (to sell merch) audience
Where the frick did you find a normal humans in HxH?
Cinemaphile is a Hunterchad board, rise up Hunterchads
there are reason you axewounds can't have your tranime coom thread on Cinemaphile?
there already is an Cinemaphile thread
choke yourself and go back
naruto is better
Naw Naruto is shit compared to HxH and I don't even like it that much
>gays shitting on KnY and HxH but praising OP and Naruto
I fricking hate Cinemaphile sometimes
Nobody likes HxH
>shitting on HxH
>but praising OP
>OP is HxH
i think you are moronic.
Dumb huntertroony
>Why do orientals not know how to write compelling and realistic relationships between characters?
have you considered the possiblity that their psyches are different and they simply dont have "realistic" relationships like you do?
I mean like i stopped watching One Piece after the mermaid island but man
the god damn moments like
Robin
Nami
Brook
Moments like this is forever stay in my heart. So im glad i saw One Piece.
because miyazaki was right
the last part the anime was in was part of the "larger world". I read a bit into the book and it even has meta around politics and trying to get past the ice wall. So I wonder, there are a few other anime things that also have the flat earth model with the extended different land masses past the ice wall. And near our own south pole there is also a military treaty that encompasses pretty much all the nations. I wonder if this anime actually gives a slight hint as to what is going on in the world lol
