Scream 5 was a dull retreat of 1 and 4, at least 6 has a few individual scenes that are kind of cool (the opening, the bodega, the latter chase, gales phone call is alright) but overall the writers of these ones just lack creativty and the endigs of both 5 and 6 are just going through the motions to the point you wonder why they are even wasting time making these movies if they have no new ideas.
I swore to never watch any more Scream after the firth one. No big loss. The first four are still there and I can just watch MC content if I get bored.
This is honest to god the most annoying character ever put into screen. The fact that she survived ruined the movie for me. I hate the writers, I hate this fricking movie so much. Why does no one die. Why are your precious minorities invincible. Why is the movie so ducking GAY. Why is it so STUPID.
Scream 5 was atrocious. Scream is the only franchise (maybe benefitting from being a short one) where quality was relatively consistent and all 4 were decent or better. Then 5 was something else, I turned off after about 20 minutes. It was such a culture shock to me. I knew this type of thing exists but this is the first time I've been so seriously baited into watching it.

well, you'd be pretty accurate. it's definitely the closest to the first one, which might just have to do to the fact that it's the closest to the era. the entire shit with Syd's boyfriend and his frat or Syd's theater work was lame as frick though. they had the rewrite the ending like three times
