It was pretty terrible, why the hell does the movie think you can celebrate the boyfriend getting killed when he was a decent guy.

Also yea, i get they wanted to try to be avant garde by making everything happen during the daylight. But its just counterintuitive for humans, we naturally feel safer during the day then at night.

You can-- and should-- interpret the movie as a cautionary tale about emotionally unbalanced people and the noxious effect they can have in your life if you let them around you too much.
A similar cautionary premise is found on Talk to Me

I thought a jab at liberals and how the idiots would look at that culture and say we had to respect it

Midsommar is open-ended albeit in a devious, weaselly way. The fact that a israelite would attempt to present a critical view of a white microculture (again) is already immoral.
The movie leads the viewer on and at the same time thinking about it makes it possible to see through its shenanigans.

I wanted to see her with her fricking head cut off. It really would've made the movie worth watching. I hate her. I hate her so much. Stupid fricking movie.

He was a c**t and didn't give a frick. Practically treats his grieving GF as a burden and wanted to steal his friend's idea.

At the start of the movie it was clear that she was an emotionally manipulative c**t and his friends were actually trying to keep him from going back to her. It would have been way better if she was the one that burned.

post breasts. Missy Piggy was the bad guy. She wasn't even supposed to go on the trip with them. She guilted the boyfriend into letting her go with.

He was literally at the bar with his friends and was about to ignore a phone call from her, then he picked up and that was the first time he even knew about her sister and parents death. Did you even watch the movie?

Why the hell do you think the movie "celebrates" the boyfriend being killed?
That was a rhetorical question; the answer is poor media literacy

Different movies. Midsommar is more linear and is a horror movie about a cult. Aster is very meticulous from the technical POV so you'll get the same amount of care about set design/cinematography etc from Beau is Afraid.

No they are completely different movies. I’m not saying you won’t like it but like Beau does not guarantee you will like Midsommar.

The boyfriend was a weak homosexual
    She unironically did nothing wrong
The only person truly at fault here was the israeli director, for his projections of violence onto white "antagonists"
