If there's any cartoon setting that could support it, it's Adventure Time. Even the random background character focused episodes were good, you could just switch protagonists and locations every episode and it would work.
why are there no action/adventure shows with cool white male leads? everything is either "white male loser protagonist and his strong female and diverse mary sue" comedy show or "strong wyman and black guy save the world from evil white men with weak/idiot white male comdedic side kick"
