Because Korea, Japan, China, and every other Asian country makes their own media better for them, you dumbass. We don’t need to represent the Japanese, for example, because they have endless anime about Japanese people doing Japanese things. The Chinese also hate being catered to and snub most the things we make for them, as they should.
The West is white and needs more white protagonists because that is ironically what Asians ask for. It’s a type of escapism.

I dunno, its a series for a younger audience and in its own continuity, the kid's grandma technically takes Hal's place in that universe from what I remember.
