Being weird is not difficult to understand, it's just weird.

Understanding a holy work of art like the Bible is difficult, but it's worth it. Understanding Lynch is easy but it being satanically weird just makes it off putting, not something authentically "kino".

        >satanically weird
That’s such a bizarre take on his work because he clearly has the most pure morals of anyone like him. He’s a better person than I am, I’m sure.

          It's why I claim:

All lynch haters are unknowingly... they are repulsed because they have been identified and exposed.

remember when even decades after mulholland drive was released there is still no consensus explanation of its meaning
because a definite interpretation would mean pseuds dont get to smugly pretend to understand a movie that is actually meaningless

Lynch movies are not difficult to understand lol. They are at high school literature level of depth.
The movies just aren't that good despite only appeal being that they are different.

If MD is weak then Lost Highway is weak too. Since it's the same movie about cope delusion replacing reality that crumbles by the end. Get real.

It's weird but not in a pointless way, Lynch is very good at conveying moods and emotion through his work even if what is happening doesn't make any goddamn sense. I can't imagine anyone sitting through Lost Highway or Mulholland Drive without feeling anything, his movies are very intriqueing and engaging

Lynch is largely an intuitive director. He's not "hiding" anything if that makes sense. The themes of twin peaks are laid pretty bare
