obviously, but bowie was probably stoo busy fricking chicks and young boys worldwide rather then play sports with his son, doesnt really strike me like they had some real hard bond
Starship Troopers is complete dogshit. But I find it hilarious that Verhoeven tried shitting on the book because he found it too fascist despite only reading a few pages. He tried to paint the government in the book as cartoonishly evil only for the audience to receive the opposite reception and think it's based.
Black Book, Flesh+Blood, Robocop, Basic Instinct Total Recall are not just good, but much better than Starship Troopers. There's nothing fedoraish about these movies.
Hellboy was better imho. Had a very similar finale (Rosary) but much more satisfying. He generally has a habit of redoing the same stuff over and over again.
>literally who director constantly overshadowed by the legacy of his own rock star father >tries to prove his worth despite the obvious nepotism involved >finally gets his break and makes a big movie for a consumer audience >it's a shitty video game adaptation >despite no one anticipating the movie to be good he tried put in the effort >recalled that the movie was depressing to make since mother died in the beginning of production while his father died right after the film was completed >it's a massive flop >fricks off and is never seen again
Can't imagine a director more JUSTed than him
Mike Stoklasa director of Space Cop.
I can’t believe the same person that made Moon and Source Code made that garbage Warcraft movie.
And somehow Mute sucked even harder and that was a passion project of his. Seriously what the frick happened
Bowie's death.
This. It definitely cratered some connections. Hence why only Netflix was willing to pick up Mute after Warcraft bombed.
Warcraft was before that and it sucked. Source Code is meh at best too.
i dont think they were even that close
He was a shut-in dork his whole life. His dad definitely rubbed shoulders to throw him a bone.
obviously, but bowie was probably stoo busy fricking chicks and young boys worldwide rather then play sports with his son, doesnt really strike me like they had some real hard bond
he chose to live with bowie and not his mother when his parents split. in fact he cut all contact with her
he turned out to be a complete hack, but I like source code and I LOVE Moon and hes dad so much, that I cant hate on him..
who?
shane caruth
but he has made only kino???
he got me too'd and is quitting filmmaking
He seems like a decent guy on Twitter though (haven't followed him in years). He mentioned Flesh + Blood as a big influence, so he has kino taste
Verhoeven is a fedora boomer. Only good movie he ever made is Starship Troopers and it ended up good purely by accident.
>Robocop and Total Recall aren't good movies
have a nice day.
>have a nice day because you don't like my dogshit movies
You are not even a person.

>the delusion
Dropped it after the first Hellboy. Very sad.
The man with the power to make himself shit his pants
>dude what i made a movie about 1930's fascism
>dude what if make that my entire discography
He peaked with Mimic and that was only due to interference from Harvey Weinstein
Hellboy was better imho. Had a very similar finale (Rosary) but much more satisfying. He generally has a habit of redoing the same stuff over and over again.
How the frick do you go from Moon to literally anything he did after Moon?
moon fricking sucked and was poorly shot and written
it was carried by the sheer charisma of rockwell
a more reddit film there is not
but he never made anything good to begin with??
m. night shyamalan
he was never good
I think his films got so bad you can say that, but his first 3 movies are genius. where thatt director has gone, it's sad, total wasted talent.
I feel like Sixth Sense is the most overrated movie on earth

His mother is still alive though
Warcraft was good, especially for a video game movie and I'm tired of pretending it's not
