it's not the meditation that's bad, it's the fact that it's an organization that promotes meditation and sees that fricking yogi guy as some god and charge you like 1k for a few sessions. these morons literally think that you can start levitating by practicing hopping like a frog but on your ass
Lynch is practically a yogi himself. He strings together things that appear to have deep meaning and uses this skill to maintain a harem of hot young women.
>you can start levitating by practicing hopping like a frog but on your ass
And you say this costs 1k to learn?
What's the name of the organization? Just out of curiosity,
This was always bizarre to me, like you can just watch a bunch of stuff on it online for free, or you can do something like Vipassana which doesn't charge you anything until after the experience and you just pay what seems fair to you for the food/board and experience. I did a 10 day Vipassana and got food and a bed, and a meditation experience, and I only gave them a hundred bucks because that's all the spare cash I could afford and they were fine with it, some dudes didn't even pay at all.
Some people think that paying for something means you'll learn it better. I started learning a language and used only free resources, then my brother decided to start learning the same language and the very first step he took was buying like $50 worth of stupid books and shit.
Guess who is still learning the language and who gave up after 2 weeks?
It’s strange, one would think the sunk cost fallacy would kind of edge you into sticking with things. But it doesn’t always work. I pay for a personal trainer but frick I’m there every week 4 times a week and don’t miss a day unless I have to.
There's a reason the guru was a fundamental part of meditation in every ancient tradition. Without an initated member you are prone to misuse meditation and get no where. You can sit and focus on your breathe for your entire life but if you actually want to achieve anything with meditation you need some instruction.
Yes anon Patanjali was just wrong and your new age mysticism was the only correct way.
I don't do meditation because I'm not willing to search out a guru at this time in my life..

Transcendental Meditation, it's the second largest cult in Hollywood iirc to Scientology.
This Cinemaphile plus Joseph Biden is too moronic and senile to be considered evil anymore.

He literally had his daughter write the father-daughter rape diary in Fire Walk With Me. He's had many consistent associates suddenly become murdered, some connected to organized crime. He's a Thelemite and was friends with Jack and Marjorie Parsons, and L Ron Hubbard.
That's because he has no idea what he's doing until he's on set. He improvises.
>inb4 Lynch'd
No
t. Reddit gay who needs everything spoonfed
i'm not sure about if he's evil but he advocates for that fricking meditation cult. i stopped liking him as a person after finding that out
How is meditation bad?

You don’t get it, money is the root of all evil, so by taking on the burden of collecting money they’re actually doing the world a huge favour.
>Paying for meditation ever

Doesn't he run a charity foundation? I don't think he actually makes money off of it. He just wants to as many people as possible into meditation.
He spent 600k of his own money on a mantra from the guru
He's the founder of it
Transcendental Meditation, it's the second largest cult in Hollywood iirc to Scientology.
and do you have to go to hollywood to learn how to levitate like a frog?
No. Scientology does the same shit. They'll make you pay 10k to learn remote viewing.
I'm not so interested in remote viewing, I think 1k for levitation like a frog is a pretty sweet dreal though.
no, he's not the founder of it. some pajeet founded it and it got popular in 1968 when he taught the beatles meditation.

Top ten anime betrayals
what a weird little man
will byers looks like that now???
kek
What year is this?
Going to guess it's sometime between 1989 and 1992
Sounds reasonable. but Lynch looks younger here than he did in Twin Peaks.
David Lynch does not look like a happy camper here.
wow the plot thickens
Is this real???
Who knows but David's daughter did respond that he's insane and has harassed their family for years.
In hollywood you must either join the israelites, scientologists, or TM. Lynch picked the least worst option.
No no, not evil. He was just a transcendental creature, lost in our three-dimensional world, longing for a purpose.
>transcendental
I have never seen someone use this word correctly
not everyone reads Kant, Pitty
Relax, it's just a drawing
Lynch only talks about TM when asked to, he rarely mentions it on his weather reports or even in talks
I’m not a believer in TM myself but that goes a long way in proving he’s genuine about it imo

Thelma is based though
