haven't watched the new Puss in Boots yet. Can't imagine that it's any better. It probably just seems good relative to the absolute wasteland that mainstream cinema has become.
The new Puss in Boots film is good. It's not absolute kino tier good, we haven't had a movie like that for 4 years now. It's still the best thing in 2022.
Shrek 3 is, in it's core, just depicting what happens in modern times. In order to please the female gender and society in general, the modern man falls into self deprecation by conforming to societal rules and clothes, losing his will to follow the way on nature, well being and manliness.
It's sad.
It really isn't that bad. Excellent voice acting, entertaining characters, compelling story with decent messages, some funny bits, engaging camera work, and memorable lyrical soundtrack. The CG animation and character designs are questionable tho.

Shrek 2 was great. But agree i like Puss 2 more than other shrek movies. Hopefully Shrek 5 will be as good as Shrek 2 and Puss 2.
