I like both a lot but I'll admit I'm kind of a sucker for the sequel's human charm and humor as well as the T1000's concept.

You're a sucker for shit movies is what you is. My Pet Robot is a disgrace in comparison to the gritty first one. If you think Hasta La Vista Baby and other cholo phrases are funny/cool, you're a nerd/dork.

If you legitimately believe that the standard of stupidity is enjoying media that you don't enjoy, you may be cognitively impaired or stunted yourself.

Enjoying media is one thing, saying it's close to the perfect movie is another. You're clearly too stupid to even argue against my points. The plot and acting is so bad in T2. Everyone but Hamilton and Patrick are awful. The dialog is terrible, and what the frick is a trailer park southern redneck doing in Los Angeles? Should have been a beaner since John had such a boner for their culture, the little Bart Simpson wannabe.

                >trailer park southern redneck
Huh? I don't know if you've ever been to the south, but his accent wasn't southern at all. He's just a kid with a mohawk. Punk style was fairly common at the time.

    >perfect or close to it

So to me that's a different question than what's you favorite or what do you think is the best film. A perfect movie is one that executes its concept perfectly. I'd say Terminator 2 is a good example of that.

The earliest example of a perfect film I can think of is Casablanca, the cast is perfect, the music is perfect, every scene works, the pacing is perfect, the cinematography is great and the dialogue is immensely quotable.

None, trying to find "perfect" or "flawless" movie is stupid. I judge movies as whole and even movie with "flaws" or "problems" can be better than movie without them but without many good things to offer too.

    Star Wars: A New Hope.

Its the most impressive piece of world building ever set to film. It creates a bizarre but still believable world in the span of two hours, it has the best original score in the history of film, incredible art design, a perfect cast, and groundbreaking special effects. The ultimate expression of George Lucas' autistic genius, the highlight of his career, a high he'd never be able to match again.

I was gonna say Sicario but that's a given so I'll say one that's a bit less popular (AFAIK): The Pledge.
It's a very simple movie and maybe that's why it's so perfect to me. Insomnia is also very good, possibly one of my Al Pacino's favourites.
