Yeah i always thought that scene was pretty stupid.
realistically tucos goons would've immediately shot him down
    >b-but Tuco said not to
that's because Tuco is not an accurate depiction of a drug lord, he acts like a cartoon villain 90% of the time.

      >Show successfully shows Tuco to be completely irrational
      >Redditor finds him not ordering Walt's death to be problematic
      You. Are. A. moron. Kys.

a completely irrational drug dealer would not have been reasoned with after his life was threatened. unironically would've immediately killed walter either that night or the next morning.

His irrationality is believable if hes a crystal meth user

      >NOOOO YOU CANT HAVE ENTERTAINING CHARACTERS THEY MUST ALWAYS TAKE THE MOST BORING COURSE OF ACTION POSSIBLE
I shudder to imagine what a TV show written by a poser Cinemaphilemong would look like

        >noooo shows can't be held accountable when they make lazy writing choices
A good show would've held the same amount of tension without breaking the viewers immersion like that. watch the shield for an example of what i'm talking about.

BCS sucks, it's boring as shit, it's what happens when a pseud buys his own hype and tries to "fix" what was wrong (good) about BB
Of course it's always BCS gays with their dying show complaining about BB's best, most iconic scenes that made the series as popular as it was, they just dont get it, they're dumber than a normie who watched and loved BB back in the late 2000'

ask me how ik you've never read, seen, or watched anything about the cartel. here I'll dumb it down for you. watch sicario and come back and tell me with a straight face that any of those cartel c**ts would've dealt with Walt's bullshit

BB is not real life and the salamancas are a fictional family with their own morals and walter's meth is supernaturally amazing to the point where he can make people do things for him they wouldnt normally do, you're a brainlet

                >BB is not real life and the salamancas are a fictional family with their own morals and walter's meth is supernaturally amazing to the point where he can make people do things for him
that's called lazy writing anon. i just wrote a show about a serial killer who only kills other serial killer and his cop gf won't turn him however because he's got the code and he's good at what he does, what it's not real life anon you're a brainlet it's not bad writing.

DAILY REMINDER that the 'i am the one who knocks' and 'i have a dark passenger in me' scenes are identical and both shows are fricking trash

                >i just wrote a show about a serial killer who only kills other serial killer and his cop gf won't turn him however because he's got the code and he's good at what he does
There is literally nothing wrong with the "realism" in this premise, you're so fricking stuck on 00' era nostalgia-critic-tier media criticism, I know you think you're really intelligent and a media savant but you're just a dumb autist, you're not seeing more than other people, you're seeing less

                Anonymous

ahaha what a fricking projection, nostalgia critic? and yes there is plenty wrong with the premise considering its the premise of later season dexter which is objectively shit. but you can't process this because you have a broken autistic brain.

What does a regular viewer (who has little interest in cinema) see when watching the famous "this is not meth" scene? They see a man taking a stand for himself and his partner. They see the contrast between how Jessie and Walt approached the same situation. They see Walt struggling to maintain his composure and trying to make his dorky alter-ego work. They see how Tuco humors him, and they see for the first time Tuco ceding ground to someone. They see how amazing the slow motion scene looked and they hear the amazing score (which perfectly sells the atmosphere in the room). They appreciate the acting when Walt finally cracks and is completely high on adrenaline. But most importantly, they see how this scene, symbolically, is about a man reclaiming his masculinity.
What does a Cinemaphile pseud, autistic moron see?
                >uhh duuuuhhh if I was tuco i would have done did shoot walt!
They cannot perceive this scene in any light other than their autistic need for low-level consistency. They lack the ability to see what every viewer of the show at that time saw, because they are autistic, and completely unaware how autistic they are.

          >autistic
says the guy who autistically analysed a 30 second scene by breaking it down into each individual movement and character action like an autist. can't have your cake (it's just a TV show don't think about it) and eat it too (this scene is the greatest piece of art because Walter is so masculine). btw walter is a beta b***h throughout the entire show even cries like a woman multiple times towards the end.

3rd world mexican drug addicts are scared of a white man's magic crystal, of course they backed down. it's the natural state of non whites to be afraid, especially once you remind them of their place by displaying power they can only dream of.

yes, in a dream. kino as shit. supernatural elements have been in play since episode 1 only morons don't see this. besides, it doesn't break the immersion as much as a cartel member allowing himself to be BTFO by a skinny white dude

You are also moronic apparently. There are no supernatural "dreams" in show. It's literally stream of conciseness. It's something that a character is in denial about and is too afraid to confront. Tony knew Pussy flipped the moment he started talking about telephone cards but was in complete denial.
