agreed
Nah
Nope
Guys what went through this anon's head while he did this
pure shite
the original evil dead gives me a headache every time i try to watch it
Evil Dead 2 is not the original, zoomzooms, it's Evil Dead 1.
You know, Evil Dead 1, the serious horror movie that was so laughable and bad that Raimi remade it as comedy-horror with Evil Dead 2?
That one.
>dumb gay thinks ED2 is a remake
>dumb gay thinks ED1 didn't have intentional comedy despite paying homage to Three Stooges
you're so dumb I've got douchechills. I can only imagine having to interact with you regularly and the thought is nauseating - how bad you must smell every day from being too retarded to clean your ass.
Sam and Ted themselves said that ED1 wasn't supposed to be comedy, they wanted to make a serious horror movie, that's why they made a short called Within The Woods which got good reception.
ED1 was unintentionally humoristic which is why ED2 is a remake/reimagination of ED1.
Keep on coping on.
go to bed fede
Didn't like it, turned it off. Evil Dead 1 is decent but 2 is great.
I like this but I've never seen the original, is it good?
Same as above
Atrocious remake, incredible original.
Poor remake, good original, but honestly on the weaker end of classic Argento for me.
I like both the same.

Begin any time, OP.
Great thread.
Both the original Evil Deads and the remake are great in their own rights. It's the only series I can think of where every single entry is slightly different in tone and approach but thats whatbmakes each one unique and they're all great in their own rights that each one is great.
From the trailers I feel like Rising is gonna be another awesome and unique entry into the series.
Honestly, you take the simple plot of people reading the necronomicon in a unique and interesting setting and unleashing deadites to wreak havoc is a recipe for success. Like the Predator series it benefits from different styles and locations.
Love that short. Woke up to it one night and was unsettling
Terrible bait. Just admit that you got filtered by the village half of Wages of Fear.
obviously
The newest release was a prequel retard
>calling others retarded when he doesn't know basic film history
You somehow know less than me, and I'm a cross-boarder from /tg/.
I love the remake to death but it didn't btfo the originals
every Stephen King adaptation
Poor bait, but it was definitely one of the best remakes.
Dawn Of The Dead (2004)
>first 30 minutes is better than anything in the original
>movie slowly goes downhill after the first half until it’s ultimately on par with the original
Filtered
agreed. Romero is a cuck who cannot help but dickride morons whereas based Snyder included one interracial pairing just so he could illustrate what an abomination is was lol. Too bad about Army of the Dead sucking though, I was hyped for it.
>doesn't even have the gonk in it
2/10
Absolutely this. Much better than the original, I was surprised and impressed.
Remake was great and very different to the original but the original is still better.
the two movies are so wildly different its dumb to compare them. gene wilder put in the better performance.
Get the fuck out
no
The set up was absolutely retarded, but other than that it was okay.
Remake was trash.
IT, blade runner, dredd, dune
og evil dead was a good horror comedy while remake was mediocre horror movie.
Evil Dead 2 was better than Evil Dead, yes.
The Fly
Scarface
Heat
Wolfman 2010
Maniac 2012
Dredd
Invasion of the body snatchers 1978
Night of the living dead 1990
>Maniac (2012)
It's good, but not better than the original.
based, always thought the original and Evil Dead 2 were enjoyable but nothing particularly special. Evil Dead 2013 was awesome. I still think Army of Darkness is the best
usually when someone says "the original" it just refers to the first movie
The best example I can think of right now
Isn't this just some shit girl boss flick?
I think it's a mother turning into a zombie demon
No, Mia (the girl in the cover) actually gone for 90% of the movie.
She shows up at the start of the movie being raped by demonic vines and then she starts to get possessed which her friends just say that it is a normal reaction to heroin withdrawal, then when she gets really crazy/fully possessed they lock her in the basement.
She stays in the basement for the majority of movie, only showing up occasionally to taunt the other people.
She is the sole survivor when her brother manages to cleanse her soul by following the instructions scribbled on the Necronomicon pages. And she does kill the weakling demon that rises from the ground with a chainsaw, but it is not a girl boss flick.
torture porn never was, never can and never will be better than anything, you sick in the head person
I wouldn't say that bit ED is my go to example of a good remake
