I remember a likely Canadian part-fantasy, part-sci-fi show about a kid named Quest (I think), a big guy who says he hates things a lot, and maybe some other people, on a mission to get some some powerful swords. In what I assume is a season finale episode the kid goes to a dentist that somehow, in secret, put one of the swords into his tooth. My memory of this show is extremely hazy, I can't even find its name.
I could find it fairly easily online, so maybe not as obscure as I thought. I have never seen anyone talk about this though and even as a kid I seemed to be the only one who knew it existed. >ywn be a kid eating honey toast for breakfast while getting for school and watching this EVER again
Holy hell this show was shit but I loved it.
I remember this cartoon, in my country it was called "Kung-Fu Chickens", the english original title seems racist or a pun that I can't understand.
Hated this cartoon, I mean I watched it only because there was nothing fun to watch.
They sold a magazine in my country that'd come with the cards and talismans. I still have them in a case somewhere. Weird that they never capitalised on Xiaolin Showdown's Shen Gong Wu.
I have dementia
>Jackie Chan Adventures
>obscure
Come on now
I never hear normies talk about it
That's because it's just a simple fun cartoon that aired when most people were teenagers and were supposed to be watching trendy edgy horny animes.
older normies make memes about it every once in a while
This isn't even bait, it's just really low hanging fruit.
What was the best saga? Talismans, masks or cards?
Talismans hands down
Outside of nostalgia S1 was mostly Jade being obnoxious
Jade was obnoxious for the entire show
She was, but it was especially bad in S1 and S2 fillers
Her screentime was slighty reduced in S3 and S4 to give us more Tohru and Uncle thankfully
It has a cool long-form story with a begining and end.
Talismans no competition.
Cards
Demons
I really liked when the animals had the talismans essence and they had to captured them
Pls...I binge watched that last month
Sagwa the Siamese cat homie
>ONE MORE THING
>BADDAY BADDAY BADDAY
>"HEY JACKIE!"
>Valmont being a cuck
You failed.
First season was kino, everything after that was mediocre
There were a couple of episodes in S2 that were made to be inserted in S1, raising that story to about 15 episodes.
What a strange way to write "no one talks about"
I have seen more xiaolin showdown threads thant this, but they only live for Wuya

Sounds like World of Quest. It was a comic first and the TV show really butchered the original concept.
Yep, that's it. In what way did the show butcher the comic?
Basically all the characters are dumbed down. I remember reading that the original creator wasn't happy with it.
where the frick can i watch this?
Kids WB. I also like watching new episodes of Batman Beyond, Static Shock and Pokemon.
i only have hbo, netflix, amazon and disney
Jade used to be one of the biggest Cinemaphile characters until about 2010.
I remember the intro beign really good and watched like when I was 7/8 came back to mind while talking with friends.
this reminds me of el tigre
And I won't forget
>Rimba Racer
>Obscure
Come on now
Not the point
Dragon flyz
>Dragon flyz
the only reason I knew this show existed were the ads of it on some vhs tapes
Jackie Chan fever was KINO
I watched them when I migrated to the USA and was learning English as a 10yold
I loved this series it made me feel empowered seeing a non-white cartoon character on tv
Had a pretty sweet intro, too.
I could find it fairly easily online, so maybe not as obscure as I thought. I have never seen anyone talk about this though and even as a kid I seemed to be the only one who knew it existed.

Am I the only one who watched this cartoon?
I thought it was fever dream on my kid ages.
I've never seen or heard anything about this show anywhere back when it was on TV.
I only remember this because it came on same channel as growing up creepie
The setting was neat. Aardman doesn't really acknowledge because it wasn't made in the UK but I think it deserves more recognition.
I hated this cartoon
It was a comfy show

Name three shows that AREN't Jackie Chan Adventures.
That's right; you can't.
