Haven't been on Cinemaphile in quite a long time. I needed to see what all the buzz was about this new web cartoon that autistic spergs are obsessing over. I sat through the whole half hour video. Its okay i guess but I don't understand why it has 10s of millions of views being a week old. I don't understand it and i don't want to, just like I don't understand fnaf, friday night funkin, undertale, Hasbin hotel and whatever autistic zoomer shit you porn addicts are obsessed with. Just stop cross posting this clown on Cinemaphile. We don't want it, keep that shit here, you know who you are. The only Cinemaphile cross posting allowed is Charlie on /misc/. Now fuck off nerds
People are claiming this is another FOTM that will be forgotten in a month when the pilot is already creeping past multiple Helluva Boss episodes and is 100% going to eclipse Murder Drones' view count.
>when the pilot is already creeping past multiple Helluva Boss episodes and is 100% going to eclipse Murder Drones' view count.
Anon, most of the viewers of Murder Drones will have also watched the ADC pilot. They are a big chunk of the viewership by default. The growth between the time Murder Drones came out with its pilot, and how popular it is now (as it's been Glitch's only active running show for the last year) means the base viewership of Glitch are mostly Murder Drones viewers anyway - contributing to the instant success of the ADC pilot. All the commotion has attracted new viewers though, and will continue to do so for a while and eventually Murder Drones and ADC will have seperate viewerships with heavy overlap from people that watch both due to both being produced by Glitch.
It's not really a surprise, ADC is the newer show and Glitch is bigger now than it was back when MD released. Given Glitch is only big enough to work on one show at a time, viewers of either show will watch the other while one is hiatus and the other is in production - and vice versa. I guarantee much of the instant viewership of the ADC pilot are MD viewers that were waiting for episode 7 anyway.
>t. one of 500k meta runner fans
Yeah sure, keep denying the fact of Glitch's channel growth. Meta Runner barely had a fanbase, nobody really watched it. Beyond initial watches from SMG4 overlap, it was dying out with sub-1 million views per episode. Murder Drones blew up Glitch's viewership and said viewers became its primary audience. What the fuck are you on about? The difference with Meta Runner is that it was not successful and not responsible for Glitch's success and allowing it to grow enough for them to produce something like the ADC pilot while in the middle of making Murder Drones. You sound like a tribalfag retard, which is funny because again much of Glitch's audience overlaps with MD and ADC.
I'm fairly certain the main driving force for ADC receiving so much attention is both SMG4 constantly being in trending, and its entire concept being a combination of so many things that Gen Z viewers like to see. So no, I'm not some fucking tribalfag like you desperately want to be, it's clear that Murder Drones was utimately a failure too, considering the vast majority of people - myself included - forgot it even existed up until this show came out.

Nah I just think you're unwilling to accept that ADC is going viral on its own merit and that it didn't *need* the existing fanbase to begin with.

It's a fact of Glitch's channel analytics. If you actually think ACD would have gotten as many views as it did in such a short amount of time without there already being an established fanbase for Glitch because of Murder Drones' success you are genuinely delusional. If MD had never existed, the ADC pilot would have likely seen similar growth to the MD pilot 2 years ago - so 24mil in 2 years. Then a year downtime while Meta Runner finishes (averaging like 900k views an episode), then a year of production which would be Glitch's most popular show by far, establishing a much larger fanbase primarily based around ADC. A few episodes before the season finale they tease and drop a pilot for a new show which gets millions of views extremely quickly as Glitch's already established viewerbase checks this new production out, which stirs up discussion and popularity and attracts new viewers. It would be the exact same thing with the shows switched around - one just happens to be newer and was released at a time when the viewerbase is much bigger. Meanwhile, you think the majority of the ADC's immediate fast growing views were completely random views that had never heard of Glitch before and had no idea they were releasing a new pilot - and just happened to stumble across it all at the same time because it's just that good. This is the thought process of a hyper-fixated autist that thinks his new obsession is god's gift just because it's a hit success and there can't be any reason (like the viewerbase Glitch had been cultivating for 2 years by this point) contributing to it being popular apart of it being muh the bestest thing ever.
The biggest factors behind ADC's immediate numbers are
Glitch's already established fanbase (grown over 2 years since the MD pilot's release) > Gooseworx's pre-existant fanbase > Conpletely new viewership attracted to the Pilot by the boom in discussion and fast-growing popularity.
There's no way you are this dense.

It's the same general audience for Glitch you fucking retard
Much of the viewers for MD, anywhere from 7 - 11 million of them, will have watched the ADC pilot while waiting for the next MD episode since Glitch can only focus on one at a time. Are you that autistic you have to try and make it a competition between things created by the same people? Underage twitterfag behaviour.
Hate to say it, but I’m inclined to agree with the fat virgin from Cinemaphile. I enjoyed Little Runmo and a few other Gooseworx Productions (TM), but I think sue needs to work on her dialogue. It felt very forced, and a lot of the jokes made me cringe. It got too meta too quick, like the bit where the Queen says something like “well you’re still watching it.” I feel like the delivery is off on a lot of jokes that could have been funny, too. Part of it is that the characters don’t emote properly for a lot of it. The character designs are decent, and the music is good. Maybe the writing and delivery will come together over time, but for now it feels mediocre. Also, the dude I’m replying to definitely beats off to Overwatch characters.
This show sucked. Are people honestly just coom baiting over literal LSD dream simulator made by early age Pixar/HBO family animations??
If so I am glad I am still sane enough to recognize this shit.
There was one fanart of Pomni that looked pretty good (a depressed as hell game developer named Pamela who looked faintly similar, just with a ponytail and big round glasses). Lost the link, though.

This shit reminds me of something I used to do when I was a kid and waay more autistic.
If something was new and hyped (and especially if I thought it was going to be popular) I'd go all in on the obsession, posting and drawing and engaging far more than I would have if I'd just discovered it in a vacuum - just to prove to everyone how much more of a fan I was.
It feels a bit like a feedback loop of people like that - there's amplified interest, because people want to be in on the "new big thing" before anyone else is. >oh you like this show? well... I've been following the development since it was just a concept sketch in 2013
I hate that I still have tiny remnants of this in me now, but at least I recognize it, it's just disingenuously striving to be relevant, and I see everyone doing it now.
I'm probably just projecting though
