Beyond cringe. Any adult celebrity that tries to be like a hero for the children is cringe as fuck. The Rock, John Cena, John Mulaney and this fat buffoon
Jack Black is cringe but because of the way he carries himself and because he does not give a fuck about what you or anybody else thinks he becomes based.
He's talented and sometimes funny but I'd be curious to know what musical efforts he could have made without comedy. Same with Kyle Gass who's quiet a talented guitarist and a solid singer but all his original work is comedy as well.
I've thought about this as well. He's arguably one of the best rock vocalists of all time and he barely uses it and it's mostly for comedy.
He sang War Pigs before and it was incredible.
Incredibly based, he introduced untold numbers of Millenial children to Dio and Meatloaf with School of Rock and Tenacious D. He's also managed to navigate 3 decades in Hollywood without ever being called a creep or sex pervert, so his off-camera eccentricity is a-okay with me.
i understand now why hollywood stars don't start youtube/twitch channels.
overexposure is definitely a problem - i don't care if i see the next jumanji coz i've seen so many of his antics on his youtube.
Extreme cringe and tryhard.
I liked Brutal Legend but he seems very soi.
Jack Black? more like "Fag Fat"

He was based for about 5 minutes in the early 2000s but then he exposed himself as cringe

Thinly veiled semetary thread
He's very reddit making noises like DOOPITY DOO BLUBLUBLU but he's also kinda funny sometimes

hes a creative genius
His only good movies are High Fidelity, Shallow Hal and Tropic Thunder.
School of Rock is a great movie.
All pale in comparison to Nacho Libre, his only good movie.
Nacho Libre is trash
You're right, I should have included it
Bernie. Pick of Destiny. Jesus' Son. Be Kind Rewind.
You forgot Saving Silverman where he kisses R Lee Ermey
cringe and trying way too hard to be counter culture 25 years passed when he should've stopped.
Honestly? Based. He should be cringe, all things considered, but he manages to stay based beyond belief.

He exists beyond the Based-Cringe continuum in a state where he is always both, neither, and fat.
I liked Nacho Libre and School of Hard Rocks so he's based in my book
he's very reddit
