If the woman was actually a cool badass instead of a corporate mandated Strong-Badass-Woman, I'd be okay with a woman indiana jones. That won't ever happen though.
This. I'd love a Lara Croft type character. Lord knows the nuTomb Raider games suck ass and there hasn't been a good Tomb Raider movie since Angelina Jolies' first one.
It's dumb just on the basis that Indiana Jones is a character centric franchise. It's not like Star Wars which has an actual universe you can do things with. Indiana Jones is about Indiana Jones, and you can't have another character be Indiana Jones. Then it's just Tomb Raider, or Uncharted, or The Mummy.

He was a college professor back in Hitler era. They didn't even let women in school back then. How would it make any sense?
In theory you could make Indiana Jones forever, the way they can make James Bond forever. Course, the ship sailed on that kind of thing a while ago. They don't even make James Bond movies anymore.
the clothes in movie stills are always so obviously just-made and never been put on until 4 minutes ago. doesn't looks so bad within films but fuck these type of promo shots
I don’t know, the shirt looks stupidly old and gross, like he’s supposed to have been wearing the same one since the last movie, but otherwise they all look pretty normal. Love those jackets.
Anyone else have a movie replica fedora hat? I love the thing, but I never wear it outside because I'm worried about it losing shape, and getting looks from people. I tried doing it once and I just physically recoiled when I got home and realized that it was a terrible mistake. Thankfully it some at some random country farm orchid where no one has ever seen me or will see me again.
Because consoomers don't buy things unless they're attached to an established franchise. New IP's didn't die off because studios wouldn't fund them, they died off because audiences won't watch them. According to most consoomers, recognizable franchise = good content.
Am I the only one annoyed by the fact that he wears the same exact outfit in each movie? Especially now that it's been 150 years since Raiders. Am I going to be wearing my same clothes when I'm an old fart?
>Am I going to be wearing my same clothes when I'm an old fart?
old fart here. yes. i've been wearing some of the same clothes for 28+ years and have brand new shit that old, never worn.
He’s not even cognizant at this point, expect Biden tier dementia.
Part Time
>part time~ ;3
What the they mean by that?

>Indy was only ever supposed to be 4-5 movies
>Disney is going to take Indy and try to milk the cow until the end of time

The second one was bad but I still had fun. The silver suit was just awful though.

Well yeah, exactly. They never had another character be James Bond. They recast James Bond with younger actors.

The Skull one was already embarassing. What the fuck is this? Give him a wardrobe appropiate for his age.

Who cares what people think? I have a wested raider jacket and love it. Who made the hat?
I don't remember, it was a christmas gift almost 2 decades ago when I was a teenager.
i'd rather see someone in a harrison fedora hat than one of those awful cowboy hats. there is a time and place for everything.
>still hasn't lost his eye
How many more movies do we have to endure until we get closure on a 30 year old mystery?
why can't they just let these series come to natural ends and create new characters, nothing is meant to last forever
