Japanese "animation"

>praised as the best country for animation
>literally all of it is 2D shonen slop with the same art style and story
>USA does 2D, 3D, claymation, stop motion, puppets, etc. and gets one-tenth the praise

The Nightmare Before Christmas is infinitely more aesthetically daring and interesting than any of that weaboo garbage.

They give themselves away by criticizing shonen.
For those who don’t know/care, anime is broadly categorized by age/gender demographics for the audience, seinen means young adult, shoujo means young girl, shonen means young boy. These terms are just demographic labels, not genres. Shonen can mean action, romance, fantasy, etc. Some big shonen anime are Speed Racer, Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Detective Conan, One Piece, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Naruto, Bleach, and Teasing Master Takagi-San, just to name a few.
There’s a specific demographic of animation fan who just hate young boys. I don’t know, it’s a weird pathological thing. They just hate them. These people usually have a view that animation should only be for weird fat lesbians in their 30s. Their favorite shows are Steven Universe and The Owl House. Adventure Time was popular with young boys, until it was destroyed by a bunch of new writers.
Have you ever wondered why animation networks stopped making shows like X-Men, Batman, Spider-Man, GI Joe, or He-Man? Have you ever wondered why the new Superman cartoon is a dumb Lois Lane wish fulfillment thing? Wonder why a lot of IPs like Star Wars get actively fricked with? Here’s a hint: all of those would be called shonen if they were Japanese.

I don't have that view and I don't care for leftist animation sanctioned by wine aunts either. You're just searching for a clearly defined scapegoat (which probably doesn't exist, except for a handful of people you've talked to online) to justify how bland and ubiquitous shonen anime is. I grew up around a lot of hyperactive Black person/Hispanic kids who would exclusively watch shonen because they liked the fights, powerups, and cookiecooker underdog tropes. Basically I would be okay with shonen if shonentards weren't so overrepresented

Yeah there’s so many fights and powerups in Your Lie In April. What the frick are you talking about? Why shouldn’t young boys be allowed to have media that caters to them?

It was published in Monthly Shonen Magazine and it won the award for best shonen at the 2013 Kodansha Manga Awards

Idk about that. Shonen referred to the publication Shonen Jump. Devil mans and JoJo both appear in Shoenen jump and neither are considered young boy oriented

...which is called that because it publishes shounen series, that isn't a random word, it means young man, meaning it's stuff boys tend to like

Only trannies are. Western media is run by gays and trannies. Trannies hate everything but themselves

it's entirely on the responsibility for a civilization to support its own arts. the USA needs to train its people to appreciate it better. even in the golden age of western animation, most boomers dismissed it all

This show is so good and makes leftie troonime slop shovelers absolutely lose their mind.
Americans take a simple concept and make it interesting and entertaining. Jap asiaticies take convoluted nonsense and force interest and engagement by putting pedophilic imagery and coomer slop bait because no one would actually sit down and watch it otherwise.
