Morbius nonsense aside, I’ve noticed recently I have not seen one nice comment about Jared Leto. People act like he is a serial killer, it’s unreal.
He is a talented actor (Requiem for a Dream is GOAT). He is also unbelievably attractive despite being 50 years old. Be honest, that’s the real reason everyone hates him, isn’t it? They are just jealous he can have any woman he wants, any time he wants.

It's better than Trainspotting, at least.

He just became insufferable to watch after he won his oscar. To me, he’s the archetypal “tryhard” actor. He acts in a manner that feels way to showboaty about the le method and it takes me out of the movie. I like him in some of his earlier roles but for the past decade or so, I just can’t get into what he’s doing.

He's basically more arrogant than his acting career merits. I don't think he's a terrible actor but he's very vocal about being a method acting auteur which is fine if you're Daniel Day Lewis and you can waggle your Oscars in someone's face but Leto doesn't have that going for him so he should really tone it down.
It's pretty much this. We all know Daniel Day-Lewis takes it to a moronic level but it's worth it. Whereas Jared Leto just exists. Everything about him is completely fraudulent. He might as well be a doll.
