>Jason Todd fans are getting more than they bargained for in 2024.
>DC already announced it was publishing an alt-history version of 1988's Batman #428 where Jason Todd lived - not died - at the hands of the Joker. Now, we have news that the one-time Robin is getting his own solo series again. (And it's a sequel to a popular storyline of his from the past).
>Shawn Martinbrough returns to Jason Todd once more for a continuation of the story he and Christopher Priest did with Batman: The Hill and 2020's Red Hood: Outlaw storyline by Martinborough, Tony Akins, and Moritat with a new, standalone mini with Jason Todd standing alone.
>Red Hood: The Hill will partner Martinbrough, as writer, with artist Sanford Greene as Jason Todd settles into his new home - a suburb of Gotham City called the Hill. Where in previous storylines Jason Todd fended off a gang of Jokers, in this new six-part series the Red Hood will have to fend off a new villain - but he'll have some help.
>"Now, as the Hill finds itself gentrifying, old habits die hard as the vigilante known only as Strike works with her team to keep the town safe — but she’s not alone. Jason Todd, one of the Hill’s newest residents, is more than happy to don the visage of Red Hood to help Strike keep his new home safe. But a new villain is emerging from the shadows. Will Red Hood, Strike and the Hill’s small militia of vigilantes be able to keep their home safe? Check out Red Hood’s return to find out!"
>Red Hood: The Hill #1 (of 6) goes on sale February 24. Batman: The Hill is available now, and DC is reprinting 2020's two-part Red Hood: Outlaw storyline in a special Red Hood: The Hill #0 issue that'll come out a week prior to the new series.

I liked Martinbrough's two issues and after Rosemberg and Zdarsky bullshit I'm taking anything that keeps Jason the fuck away from them.
If only it didn't have the stupid MK suit
He has to use it because he is a future DLC character in MK1
Source: Ed Boon is my uncle
I love his stupid MK outfit
If he doesn't have the stupid helmet, it might as well not be Jason.
>but he has an actual hood now
It's not supposed to be literal.
I like Rosenberg's Jason, sue me.
I at least like Jason having his own logo instead of just a fat Batman symbol.
A fucking angry face is fucking stupid and Woods deserves a kick in the balls for thinking it looked cool
Compared to the other ones they considered, it's sadly the best one.
I've grown to appreciate the new logo because of its simplicity and because it's not a fucking bat, but it's also just a fucking angry mask, it means literally nothing besides Jason being an angry dude who wears a mask, which should already be obvious by looking at his face.
He's back to using guns now?
Jeeze, how many OCs can you introduce in one issue? I suspect that Jason is just going to be the figurehead for a stealth Strike and Friends book.
Who the fuck likes Jason Todd?
women. rhato had a huge tumblr following.
Kids and biological women.
I kind of liked Lobdell's Red Hood run. It felt like a book plucked straight out the 90's and it was completely unapologetic about what it was
fucking finally, took them forever for this to finally be made
I doubt it'll happen..but you know who else lives in The Hill right now?
Is more likely that Jason will be banging Martinbrough's OC chick
Honest to god I unironically think Jason trying really, really hard to not be a bad influence on Cass would be a better dynamic, Steph's only somewhat less bland than Barb.
Alternatively just have him cuck the Joker and spread that around, ruining his reputation is about the only revenge he could conceivably actually get to have and keep on the fucking clown.
The only reason Rosenberg paired Steph with Jason is because they had never interacted before.
Jason and Steph having similar backgrounds that diverged has lots of potential, where as it's hard not to buy Cass wouldn't immediately just keep Jason in check. There's no way he'd even have a chance at being a bad influence on Cass because Cass is so hard set on no-killing. If anything it'd be the otherway around with Cass trying to change Jason
I dont care for dome reason.
Maybe Jason will start fucking Strike and Ravager can finally be free of his bullshit.
I like Rose with Jason 🙂
It's a decent enough deal honestly.
If you'd read her comics you'd understand why it's shit.
Write me an essay on why it's shit, you seem like the type to enjoy making overly long posts to elaborate on your complaints.
>Deathstroke (1991)
>New Titans
>Teen Titans: Family Lost
>Nightwing: Renegade
>Teen Titans: Titans East
>Ravager: Fresh Hell
>Deathstroke (2016)
read comic, online maybe?
This fags two issues sucked ass, why would DC ask him to write more
