These and also not even racist. This is the result of diversity, inclusion, and equity instead of merit. I'm so tired of the left's shitty agenda.

i have a feeling they are just pumping out millions of turds to see what sticks. They did lose their main charismatic leads after all
the problem is going full feminist/current year is not going to produce likable charismatic characters

i doubt that. They are trying to win the streaming race now. Market share is more important at this moment
Disney stocks going up for a few percentages means more than a movie that makes 1 billion dollars

You're making it up. There's a reason why the MCU is a thing for as long as it has been. Nothing has had a run that is comparable to Phase 1-3, not even Star Wars. It's only because they made good product. Making shit level product is literally not in anyone's business model, it goes against everything that boards and shareholders stand for.

Your market share isn't going to be shit if you prove for 5 or 6 movies in a row that you've lost your touch and can't even make a movie. The streaming shit is considered TV level horseshit that they have to do with a smaller budget than one of their movies but 4-6 additional hours of content. The reason why they are trying to do episodic content on their own platform is because they were oversaturating the Hollywood theater field.

Their percentage has way more to do with overall optimism and faith in the company that also licenses to videogames and toys and cartoons and other shit. A percentage jump doesn't necessarily correlate with making bad movies or shows since the potential for regrouping is still there. Yet, if they were knocking it out of the park with movies EVERY SINGLE TIME like they were doing before they hired idiot directors and writers and producers that only got jobs because they're gay, women, person of color, or a mix of all three, their percentages would most definitely have a steady rise.

The thought that they have to make "diverse" stuff to pander to races is stupid thinking by whoever is making it because we all share the same feelings about heroes. They don't have to look like us. They have to be cool and beat the villain in a story that isn't a dry doggie turd. All the "in the political moment" commentary is hardly ever correct and never ages well.

                >we don't know
Yes we can know. It doesn't take a genius to look at 20 movies spanning 15 years and then suddenly they start hiring people to check off diversity slots. It isn't rocket science. They're fricking it up on purpose because to not frick it up all they had to do was do the same thing they'd been doing for 15 years. Never has a movie series released multiple hits in a row, much less multiple hits in a row, multiple times a year. They know what they are doing to do it right for that long. And now, "suddenly," they're doing it wrong. It's simple to understand.

It isn't even like there is no good directors or producers that can check off boxes in the diversity column. They simply choose not to hire them and, for example, we get some dumb Asian lady instead that did sub-mediocre drama movies to do an Eternals movie that sucked worse than all the other MCU movies released until then. And they're going to bring her back! lol

          >They made 20 good movies in a row; they know what sticks.
the thing you're not connecting together is that the people who are making the movies NOW are not the same people who made those 20 movies in a row. the people unironically in charge of making the newer movies are, you guessed it. women and minorities. so not only are they taking existing franchises and just injecting their own personal politics and things they want in it, the people in charge now have no fricking idea what they're doing because they were hired based on discrimination. in that, they were not discriminated against, but rather FOR, the color of their skin or their chromosomal status. in some cases how fricking mentally ill they are, because it's "brave" that they would be working on normal things despite having no normal take on anything.

I did pretty much make all that connect here:

You're making it up. There's a reason why the MCU is a thing for as long as it has been. Nothing has had a run that is comparable to Phase 1-3, not even Star Wars. It's only because they made good product. Making shit level product is literally not in anyone's business model, it goes against everything that boards and shareholders stand for.

Their percentage has way more to do with overall optimism and faith in the company that also licenses to videogames and toys and cartoons and other shit. All the "in the political moment" commentary is hardly ever correct and never ages well.

It's so obvious. I think it's funny that they think a few million numbers is good on a stream app when if the product was good they could do so much more. The sad thing is this:

The shows released when the app was new. It's still relatively new but the numbers aren't so great. This fricks it up for others that want in because they won't get greenlit with a good idea because some high-up will say "no, look, this was similar and it didn't work." So we won't get someone to take a risk and produce something that will wow for a long time.

all the characters people care about are dead or retired, replaced by the shitty bad characters from the woke era, NO ONE FRICKING LIKED THOSE,
Marvel literally killed Comic stores because it forced them to buy that garbage to be able to buy the good comics.
i remember that my comic store had a bin of freebies, filled with Amercia Chavez and other shitty comics and even when they were free people often threw back them into the bin after reading them, to the point the owner of the store had to make a rule about not putting them back into the bin,a small note that said "all transactions are final, even if it's free" or something like it.

      Three core issues:
      1. They have too many projects, so they have less time for quality control.
      2. In order to give a sense of progression/finality to their stories, they closed a lot of plotlines in Phase 1 by killing off villains/heroes who were around for decades in the soap opera-esque comics.
      3. They are trying to introduce a bunch of PoC/female characters, but because of wokeism they cant give proper character flaws to these characters so their character arcs, and thus stories, suck.

So either Marvel is making these as movies and then if they realize it's shit and it'll hurt their brand they film "reshoots" to stretch it into a series -explaining why they're a random number of episodes- or they did the (more likely) much more moronic thing and they realized the show was terrible and you could cut the runtime under two hours and ultimately release a better product and so turned it into a movie.

If it is the latter, this is just going to hurt the entire brand. Up to now audiences have been able to insulate the shows from the movies, tell themselves (falsely) that the movies are better quality.
